Just take a wild guess, what do you think FE10 will be about? Use your imagination.

It will be a 3-D, hack&slash adventure game starring Roy with unlockable character Marth. It'll be on the Revolution and the controller will act as the sword handle. The final boss will be a giant ulgy turtle and your rival throughout the game will be a green-clad elfin warlord. D=

I hope the next one is for the DS, but I think they should do it 2D like AWDS rather than 3D like PoR.

Yeah, that was 1 of the only bad things to PoR, I hated the 3-d attacks.

I'd prefer it to be on the GBA still, or a 2D game (NOT A DOWNLOAD) on the Rev, otherwise.
An entirely new game, with a new continent. Quite possibly, a game with about 40 or so chapters + some sidequests, and maybe some newer classes (add the friggin emissary IS). The skills function was a good revival from FE4, so it should be in that, too. FE2 and FE8's world maps were also nice, so that should see comeback in this game. It's similar to the base in Path of Radiance, seeing as you can manage items and buy them, and it is something entirely different as well. They just wouldn't have skirmishes and all of that. You could go back to armories and vendors you may have missed, but no arenas for FE10. No. Just no. They make the game too power oriented and not skill oriented. -------------------- ![]() |

GBA? Interesting. Do you not have a DS, or is there some other reason for that? I think that as long as they keep it 2D and don't use the stylus too much, the DS would be fully superior with its two screens. 40+ chapters sounds good as far as that goes, and we do need more new classes as well. I also agree with world maps, you shouldn't be able to fight in the tower/ruins things during the main game, but I think it is a good way to add replay value after you beat the game. About arenas.... I don't know. I find that it is harder to abuse arenas than it is to abuse the ruins (a lot easier to die) and there aren't very many of them... I guess I could go either way on that one. -------------------- |

I don't have a DS, yeah, but that's not why I chose that (besides, i still have a use for my gba: gb/c games with sound not requiring headphones). We've had three GBA installments released so far. Why not surpass the Famicom's three released games (FE1, FE2, FE3) with a fourth GBA game that ends the handheld's life (for now) on a high note? They'd just use the same graphics, and that'd give them time to put to work whatever new classes they want to add and work on the character designs, personalities, backgrounds, and storylines. That way, we'd have the same decent graphics, and a matchless story (well, maybe). If I were in charge of it, I'd put to work the story in my fanfic I wrote some time back. That was a 50 chapter occurence, and I tried to make them different. (save captives, return them to a designated spot by eluding enemies, a one man army facing a legion of monsters, a prison break, etc.) It had well over 60+ characters (I was bored, and I can easily think up names), many new classes, and good replay value when I saw it written on paper. I'd also like to see FE5's difficulty and the return of monsters. Just no branched promotions. Bad idea. Also, the arena just let you fight for money against an opponent matching your strength. It wasn't that hard: I often fought too many brigands or pirates who couldn't double with Raven or someone. The tower was nothing, but the ruins provided a decent challenge in HM. I think that those features should be like trial maps, not places where you can directly train up your characters. There could also be secret shops, but no retarded stat boosters. They could keep it clean, with Spears and brave weapons. -------------------- ![]() |

I like the controller-sword handle idea. I have my own fighting style with a stick (I smash up the snow banks so they melt faster (Yes, I live in Canada).).
I could never weild a Flamberge, though, not like in Diablo. I hit my head when i try. I'd love it if it were on the DS, and had a level-maker in it, for multiplay (The actual multiplay sucks. We can't use staves, walk around, fly over lakes, gain boosts because of suppport... I don't like it. (I just use it to give char. Who's criticals I havn't seen a killer <item> and watch it go) A custom hero editor would be sweet. Build your own team, and actually use it in combat! -------------------- "It's not like I'm trying to tempt you, but..."

I agree on the next Fire Emblem game being on the GBA. If they were to put it on the DS, they would have to change the gameplay in someway, with the 2 screens and stylus, although their wouldnt be any major changes, I would prefer for Fire Emblem to stay the same.
I doubt they'll make another Fire Emblem for the Gamecube. If they were to make a new Fire Emblem for a home console, it would probably be for the Revolution. |

I take it this way: The stylus is useless, the 2nd screen is used to show more map. The cursor can be moved to the upper screen.
OR The upper screen shows the sky, for factors lik snow/rain maybe sandstorms (Learn to read the clouds to your advantage. Maybe a fast-paced clock, too, for day/night settings (night=fog). Only shows the clock in indoor-only levels (Like battle before dawn is an indoor/outdoor level and snow would affect movement ratings for people at the entrance). Better example: Pale flower of darkness Problem solved. (I am awesome) -------------------- "It's not like I'm trying to tempt you, but..."
