A small distance away from the rest of the Vardasians, Isaac had just finished feeding his wyvern. Not knowing anybody in the group, he decided it was time to find someone to talk to. He saw another wyvern night who seemed to be in the middle of deep thought, and did not seem to be in a relaxed mood. He eventually gave up looking for someone to talk to and slowly went back into the crowd of soldiers unobtrusively.

"Understood." Niveus followed Alex and stood beside him, observing all the new Vardasian soldiers.

"Your highness, I forbid you to move any closer! If you get harmed, the king will have my head!" She pleaded to the prince, but to no avail. Edward kept charging forward, intent on winning this fight. Dammit! He won't budge. How does it expect me to protect him?

At the agreed time, both armies begun to move. In the South, the Vardassian wyverns rose high and left to the east and the north, ready to flank the main group headed to the bridge. In no time, the mounted fighters covered the empty terrain and crossed the wooden bridge towards the main ground of the battlefield, ready to engage in battle. At an ever diminishing distance, the infantry from Leoras was also closing-in, coming from the north. They were almost in position at a choke between the water and the walls of a nearby village, but time and maybe also communication had not been sufficient to set-up efficiently.

Katrina had been riding silently since the beginning, only showing anything through her confident and mildly arrogant smile. her bow had been readied and an arrow been kept steady ever since the bridge. The prospect of a training in itself was not very appealing to her, but it was always nice to hunt on the plains. Besides, no prey ever proves as challenging as a human. In any case, the army was a nice way to kill boredom, and even such a training could prove entertaining in the short run.

As the main cavalry group moved forward across the central plains, the group split, the wyverns dashing forward from the flanks, the others covering the central plain. One of the cavaliers, though, was already headed ahead, charging instantly as the enemy arrived within range. Katrina slowed down her horse and observed, trying to identify the lone warrior. It was none else than the Lord Carinthas.

*Huh, what's he doing charging the middle of the enemy forces up front? is he trying to get killed?Now now, I can't let you do that~*

The young woman swiftly lowered herself on her horse and dashed forward after the King. The distance decreasing, she raised herself back and shot an arrow at the head of the enemy forces' general direction and turned around, going up to Lord Carinthas.

-"I'm afraid I can't simply let you fight all by yourself Mylord, I hope you don't mind if I tag along in this risky charge~"

Her words spoken, the young woman swiftly moved her horse back toward the hostiles and readied another arrow, moving forward a bit, expecting the enemy.

"HEY, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!? I'LL SEE YOU BEHEADED FOR THIS!" Edward screamed at the female bow knight. Estrella and Lilith facepalmed simultaneously, but a new opportunity arose.

The Vardasian Wyvern Forces ended up splitting into two groups. One group flew over the mountains in the north, and another group flew above the southern coast. Isaac went with the group in the mountains. Not quite sure on where to strike, he observed all of the Leorian soldiers. Eventually he found an ideal place to strike, and dove into the fight screaming his battle cry.

Iroquois had been silent from the beginning of the battle, taking his time to study his opponents. The opposing army seemed to be dispersing in a very odd fashion, leaving many of the soldiers vulnerable. Trying to hold back the laughter, Iroquois moved to the south of a nearby city and perched himself in the path leading south around the village. If anyone was planning on flanking around, they'd have to go through him first. Unfortunately a good plan was possible to be destroyed due to improper communication among the soldiers of Vardas as well.

While Iroquois had headed South to swoop around and block the enemies, fellow wyvern riders rode north into the abandoned mountains as if to hide from the battle. Even worse, Lord Carinthas and a fellow bow knight had rushed into the middle of the fray and both fired off arrows at the opposing lord, letting both arrows sail above the lord, leaving themselves wide open for a counterattack. Iroquois just sighed and hung his poleaxe over his shoulder, preparing for battle, still silently surveying the field, hoping to taunt someone into fighting him in the process.

Ducking out from his cover behind the shop, Karth sees an opening. That scantily clad mounted archer has left herself vulnerable and out in the open. With one, concentrated strike we should be able to take her out, he thought to himself.

He shouted over the battle, "SHEL, LILITH, CONCENTRATE ON KATRINA"

He had waited for this moment for a long time, now he would be able to prove his ability to serve the forests of the land. Trying to maintain mastery of himself, he took a defensive stance and advanced towards his foe

Isaac was now away from the mountains and over a body of water. He could faintly see the other wyverns on the other side of the battle field. He saw an small group of Leorians out in the open and decided to attack there. He flew towards the enemy, his comrades following.

Iranul woke up after a long nap. He took a quick glance at the battlefield, trying to see how long he was asleep.

Hearing the scream coming from behind her, Shel spun around and answered, "Fine but try watching my back!" She slowly follows the man in blue armour, named Karth.

Alex's first shot soared over the head of the boy he shot at, and the prince silently cursed at himself. As another cavalier fired a shot, Alex realized that his army had split apart, and that no one else had rushed towards the enemy with him. "I hadn't intended to fight this alone milady, but it seems our companions have abandoned all reason and fled!" Alex yelled, pulling the reins hard and swiftly turning his horse around. As he turned for another shot, Alex saw his companion become surrounded, her means of escape closed off. "Milady, watch out!" Grabbing another arrow, Alex pulled back his bowstring and fired off another shot at the small lancer woman nearest him.
