Which characters should I not use, which should I use, Bla-Bla-Bla

Kay thanks

And does Lilina suck

I'm getting mixed opinions about her usefulness in the game. D:

Well to start, Roy sucks pretty bad in the beginning of the game, even at level 20. Marcus is pretty bad too. Lillia I found to be pretty useful, Rutgur make a great Swordmaster Fir is pretty decent as well. Lance and Alan are pretty darn good as well. Dieck (is that how you spell his name) I found him to be pretty useful too, the 2 fighter you get early in the game I hear get really good as the game goes. Yeah thats all I know for this game.

EDIT: Oh if your going to use Fa, try not to use her to much cause the stone runs out faster than you think. >_>

I didn't get terribly far (can you say Chp. 5?) in FE6, but I've heard that Lilina is pretty useful. Roy isn't great, but compared to Eliwood, you'll be glad he's the red-haired dude with the rapier. I prefer Lance over Alan (it seems I have a thing for green social knights?), and Wade/Ward and that other fighter are pretty decent considering their class.

Contrary to what AK and azn said, Lilina is mediocre to good in normal and useless on hard. Use Lugh instead.

Also, and going against Aeo again, Roy is more useless than Eliwood, and the rapier itself is better in FE7.

Other than the characters azn suggested, I recommend to use Clarine, Gonzales, Echidna, Lalum, Miledy and Percival.

LOL Well, this is probably why I fail so terribly at strategy games. XD

My suggestion - Use units you like. Efficiency is one thing, but if just creating the best group possible is your only objective (other than completing the game), then it kind of sucks the fun out of things. It's a game, after all, and for entertainment purposes.

Kay, thanks all of you :>

Any other specific character's I SHOULDN'T Use?

Myke - December 17, 2008 06:11 AM (GMT)
There's nobody you can't use, but these are the ones you should probably avoid.

Remove Hugh from the list if you're fine with dishing out 30k or whatever he wants and Bors can be kind of useful in Hard mode - if you reeeaaally want an armour.

^that.

I've learned that when you play the game yourself, and figure out the characters you like/dislike, its a whole lot more fun. When I try and play with the "best" characters, I end up concentrating too much on that and don't have as much fun.

Also, try and change around your group the different times you play. Lets you get to know certain characters better.
