In this contest you are simply promoting your battle sprite twice.


In your submissions you will have your unedited starting battle sprite as your first tier, then have a second tier promotion to the right of your first, then finally have a third tier to the right of your second tier.

All your tiers must in some way be similar to each other, in other words, someone has to be able to tell your third tier promoted from your second tier, and your second tier promoted from your first tier.
Example of what I don't want:
First tier = [thief sprite] ----> second tier sprite [recolored cyclops sprite] ----> third tier = [recolored fire dragon sprite]

They have to flow in one way or another.

If your Mounting a dismounted sprite, you may use offiacial Fire emblem mounts (Horse, Wyvern, Peg, ect). However, you must do some editing to the main sprite for it to be acceptable.

Recoloring is allowed but SHOULD be used very little
Splicing and Customizing are allowed as well (and recommended).


Final Entries must be behind a white background.

Sounds good. Time to do some design work.

Ok. I guess this is an ok attempt even though it is mainly splices with some small edits. My character also pulls a Rolf and grows older as he promotes.

I got a question, say that I made a battle sprite that doesn't work so well with a white background, cause it makes it hard to see some details, would it be alright to use a darker colored background if it comes to that?

I nearly ran out of ideas for this...

my original is the second one... I believe that was said to be okay? Otherwise I'd have to figure out how to class up a mounted unit 3 times, making it first double epic. And then Triple Epic. And triple epic... well... the fabric of your reality couldn't take that for it is made of cheese cloth. Also, I couldn't think of anything. So I went with a kind of Devil Kings type thing... Somewhere between Masamune Date and Yukimura Sanada. I forget the american names... uh... Yuki got stuck with Scorpio i think... And Shingen Takeda got turned into Red Minotaur...
