Ok, so I saw everyone else making sprites and thought I would too. I made this character for FE7:

Everything, but the hair on the stat sheet is good. Text, improperly spaced, and the stat caps are wrong. Ill post them below:

The text isn't properly spaced.

??? What are you guys talking about... the text is spaced perfectly. Letters overlapping by one pixel, three pixels between words. That's how it's supposed to be.

There are some horizontal alignment problems with the stat numbers and the hit and crt on the first scene, but everything else is fine.

Nice. The hair on Vaxnire on the stat sheet needs some work, but other than that they look good.

That's the problem... he didn't do that part.

OMG! I figured out my problem. Everyone else has told me the letters are right next to each other. I didn't know they overlapped! That makes a big difference!

Thanks for the comments! Yeah I know his hair was kinda funky but I didn't know what else to do. Oh, BTW, anyone notice the purple in between the revenants legs? lol I was too lazy too fix it after I posted. :P

There should be a little 'E' next to your equipped item and the words in the battlescenes, like 'HIT' are colored wrong. Other than the spacing and the funky hair shading, this is pretty good.

Ok, I fixed my letter spacing problems..now it looks much better. And I fixed his hair. I forgot to shade in the rest of the gray :P . Here they are:

I like it, of course a weapon with 63 power is a little phsicotic but its all good.

Much better, however, your number spacing is off for the 15/15 and --/--. Also, the numbers for Strength and etc should be closer to the middle of the bar, not the side.

Well, I was reading Black Knight's gallery and decided I wanted to make my own PoR recolor. Here is FE Gameboy style Titania:



I tried to find Titania's mug, but it was near impossible to find a good one, so I just took her artwork face.

it look's good, though I don't think she has a cape, it's more like a tasset

Not necessarily. These are fan-made sprites; with inspiration comes sprites, and evidently, this person is still working on them. Yoshi is doing a very good job so far.

Ok, I've been working on this FOREVER and I really need some feedback...
I'm making a new character who is a lion laguz...I got a starting sprite, but i CANNOT for the life of me get a lion sprite....I've tried everything. here is my character:

I have it so slow so that you can tell the difference.

here is the sheet i have been working with, any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

The animation is shaky. My suggestion is to have him transforming while the shirt rips. Add the fir in while that happens. Also, make him get lower to the ground instead of away from it. The tail looks a bit long.... Just my suggestions though.

I agree with DF's suggestions and for a lion sprite, edit off two of the three heads from that monster from fe:ss, it's like the second form of a mauth dog.
but other then that I glad to see some one move on to animations and sheets, instead of uninteresting still sprites.

oh, I know the animation is shaky, I just threw that together in three seconds to see what it actually looked like. Yeah, I think I should add in fur, but I can't seem to get it to look right. You can see my attempt on the mug shot, the scar on his left shoulder? yeah, that was originally hair, that's how bad I am at that. any ideas on how to change the hair?

Oh, and i was using the unpromoted Mauthe Doog as a base for my lion, I don't know how useful the Gwyllgi would be...

Ok, simple splice, but this is my RP character....basically my old char just better.

It looks pretty good. The pointed ear looks a bit strange; perhaps you might want to try using Idoun's ear?

meh, I did that on purpose....Idoun's ear was too pointy....my character is a fourth elf so his ear is just a bit pointy.

Well, I keep running out of ideas for "sprites" per-say....but I did come up with a battle sprite and overworld for my RP character...who can guess what I used for each?



Oh, and I edited deathfire's battle sprite so that it now looks like my pirate mug.

Looks like a sage. And the sword is from either a paladin or a myrmidon. I dunno which. It looks good though.

MUH-HA-HA! No one gets my cyber cookie. Hair is Lilina as a sage, body is Lugh as a Sage. And the sword is the pally's sword....w/o the hilt 'cuz it didn't match. and the overworld is ephraim, cuz it looks like a sword.
