They actually have programs on the Mac that run Windows, in which case you could use Paint. But, there is definitely photo-editing software for the Mac, but I wouldn't know which are easiest/most readily available, because I have not a Mac.

Some people sprite on Photoshop and GIMP(not 100% sure that they have a mac version).
I have this problem with my linux os. I usually just use vista to make sprites.

And you can say that even though you've never tried one? You just know magically that it is gay?

Macs are gay for spriting and youtube but have some badass software otherwise <_< >_>

@Darkray, saying Macs are gay doesn't really contribute (when in fact Macs are pretty sweet). And granted that you've never tried a Mac, that just makes no sense. Take this scenario for example.

Bob: Greenday's new music is horrible. Steve: Hm, I liked it. What part did you hate the most? Bob: What, do you expect me to listen to it? It's horrible! |
But back on track, I have a Mac running OSX, but I'm not so sure about the availability of photo editing software (and I'd just like to clear one thing up now, there is no program dedicated to custom spriting. Photo editors are used).
I'll check up for you know, Diggybop.

I have sprited everything I have ever posted here with Acorn. Paintbox is useless, though. I've also heard good about Artrage.
And Ren: yes.
And Darkray: PDN is for Windows. Know what you're talking about. Sorry, but really. :(

they've found a way. I think I'm going to make them an account, but I might post some of their stuff from my account
