[Osamu Banin]

Osamu tread over the war scarred land with soft steps, wary of the land torn in war. While he normally might not have ventured out her, he had heard whispers that a few ninjas he was trying to find might be here. So he moved with cloak drawn and hood up to cover his face. His right arm was hidden in his cloak and the empty dark sleeve hung empty while his right hand was gripping the handle of his rapier to draw in case of attack. More then that he wasn't just looking around, his eyes were marked with the signature eye mark of the arrengan his clan was famous for. He would disengage it if it looked like he wouldn't be needing to kill someone and he watched the flow of energy around him, waiting for signs of life.

Soon he could see the top of one of the tall building that made up this village by the waves of energy bounding around it unlike the empty air around it. He only slowly regarded it as he dropped the arrengan to confirm it. He stopped to rest himself a moment standing in the muddy half-crater, probably caused by a doton user long ago in a forgotten conflict.

ShiraHoshi wasn't in her homeland....No, not quite. She looked around herself for a moment, her nose sniffing quickly at the air. Ah-ha.... She thought to herself as she padded across the large landscape before spotting a squirrel. She growled eagerly and gave chase, soon catching it between her teeth and snapping her jaws shut, killing the rodent...squirrel, thing. She walked over to a spot under a tree and began to chew/eat the squirrel.

ShiraHoshi's pack was in Ame. Ame was their home territory. They trusted their alpha to come home to them whenever she was away. ShiraHoshi wasn't quite sure why she ventured out this far. She guessed it was just the need to explore the lands.

There was something new in the air. Something that hadn't been here before, something new on the winds. It wasn't a smell, it was the abscense of something not the addition of something. He felt drawn towards the place he knew something was missing. Moving with less caution then before he moved towards the area he felt was right. As he rose out of the dip in the valley he saw something that had let the skilled Jounin down. It was just a wolf enjoying a meal. Nothing strange about it. He regarded the wolf with mild interest, not much of a hunter and not much to revere canines as something of wonder. He just watched for a moment in quiet contemplation as his jet black hair remained nestled under the dark hood and his liquid build of 6' passive in stance as the green orbs watched. Semi-curious at never havign seen a live and moving wolf close up.

ShiraHoshi finished the squirrel in no time. She licked the bones clean of the meat juice. She seemed to smile, satisfied with the 'snack'. She picked herself up and looked around for a moment, before spotting Osamu. She stared at him silently, her light blue eyes piercing into his own.

There was something odd about this canine. He hadn't met a wolf before, but he had met plenty of normal dogs, and this one was nothing like it. It didn't even look like it regarded him with scorn, just was observing him. He spoke in an inquisitive voice, almost as if it was the standard response the wolf would expect. "Greeting.

"Evening" ShiraHoshi spoke as she looked at Osamu. Shirahoshi began to walk towards him. Each step was with careful caution, ready to get on the defense if Osamu got offensive.

The wolf talked back. Calmly, immediately Osamu's mind kicked into gear. Wolf talking. Ninja frogs talked. There were ninja dogs. Within the fraction of the time it took to blink he had rationalized he was talking to a ninja wolf. With a shake to knock off the dazed look he smiled and knelt to be at the same level of the wolf though his right arm was still hidden under his cloak as it had been for his entire journey. "How is the day treating you so far?"

"Well, yourself?" ShiraHoshi asked, now a few feet away from him. She sat down on her haunched, her snowy white tail curling around her small, lean body. She gazed at him curiously. Most people jumped about a foot back when she spoke. Probably because 'wolves weren't supposed to speak like humans'. ShiraHoshi scoffed at the thought.

Deciding that he should treat her, he was guessing the wolf was a her by voice and form, with the respect of an equal he sat cross legged on the ground his the hilt of his longsword worn on his left side poked out of the cloak as he sat but it was wrapped in cloth and he made no motion to draw it. "My day was uneventful and bland till I happened across you. I'm curious, do you know this land well?"
He could ask for information as he would another person, no big deal.

ShiraHoshi titled her head to the side for a moment. "Not well, no. This isn't my homeland. My name is ShiraHoshi Ookami. I am the clan leader to the Ookami clan. Yourself?" She asked, her tail couldn't help but wag slightly out of curiosity. It was a natural, doggish instinct of hers. She couldn't help that she was interested in learning about new people/things.

He rose a brow at this and had to give it some thought. He wasn't exactly sure if he wanted anyone to know who he was REALLY, but her being a wolf won him over. "I'm visiting the land so I might have less knowledge then you. I am Osamu Banin, leader of the Banin Clan in Iwagakure. Plwasure to meet you Lady Shira. What brings you out here?"

"Hunting. Trying to find more game for my pack" ShiraHoshi said as she laid down on her stomach, uncaring for the mud that was beginning to lather on her snowy-white fur. She'd likely jump in a pond later to get it cleaned off. Hopefully it won't damage my skanky kimono if I become human ShiraHoshi thought to herself with a frown.

"How's the hunting coming? I personally haven't seen too much since I left the woods outside of Konoha." While she laid down, he remained sitting down, since laying down would just be ridiculous for him. Instead he remained sitting carefully examining her finding her curious and now actually wanting to see this pack, but asking now would be out of his bounds and he was enjoying the conversation.

"I've found a few small animals, but other then that, nothing too extensive" She spoke with a small frown. She gave a yawn. It had been a long run for her from Kumo, to here. ~~gah, parents nagging me to get off, sorry for shortness D:~~

"Troublesome, I can't offer anything of my own and the large game seems quite a distance, but you appear unrested. Perhaps I should escort you home?" He was curious of this pack she spoke of and if they were all ninja wolves such as she(still believes that she can't change human and is just a special wolf). He was intensely curious as to this but wouldn't follow her without consent.
