FF3 logging me out everytime

I have FF3 and lately, everytime I close the program and open it again it logs me out of every single site I am logged into. It's never done this before. I have not cleared my cache, cookies etc.
Yet it still does this. It's a bother having to log into everything again. I just used to open FF and I was left logged in =/
I have checked my settings and everything is as I had left it.

Can anyone suggest an explanation for this happening? Or a solution..

It might be set to clear you private data automatically (without confirmation) when it closes.
Go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy and check the settings at the bottom.

Nope I forgot to mention. My settings are all as I had them before (when it didnt do this).

Maybe. You could try deleting your profile & making a new one. Do you know how?

Well if you want to try it, here's the method. Beware that this will delete all you settings, bookmarks, extensions, passwords, etc.!



You can keep you bookmarks by doing this:

• Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
• Open the profile folder in there (something like 16gar58w.default)
• Make a copy of the file bookmarks.html (put it on your desktop or something)
• After making the new profile, paste the file back into the profile folder (which will have a different name)

Now to make a new profile:

• Close Firefox
• Right-click on any Firefox shortcut & select Properties
• In the Target box, add -profilemanager to the end, so you get something like "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profilemanager
• Click OK
• Double-click the shortcut
• Delete your profile & exit the profile manager
• Go back to the properties of the shortcut & change the target to what it was before
• Double-click the shortcut & Firefox will generate a new profile & open

There's an easier way. Just click on 'Bookmarks' then click on 'Organize Bookmarks' then you see a 'Import & Export..' button. Click on that, and click on 'Backup...' it'll make a JSON file, with "Bookmarks <Date>" as the title.

No I haven't I will though. See if they can tell me something.
