London Ontario?? laugh.gif I don't know what there is there that's really special. My sister went to the university that's there.. but I don't know much about it tongue.gif I'd rather go to London, England wink.gif

Well, it's not about the place, it's just the logical place in Canada to go because of people I know. laugh.gif
And it does seem like a pretty nice city.

Well, if you want a good taste of Canadian winters, I'd try Ottawa/Montreal (for eastern Canadian badass winters), Winnepeg (central Canada), Calgary cool.gif/Edmonton/Vancouver (for western Canada) - although Vancouver is marginally different from Calgary and Edmonton.  We're much colder, get more snow...  in eastern Canada they get a lot of freezing rain, ice storms, etc..  laugh.gif I haven't experienced those.  And in Winnepeg, it's much like Calgary/Edmonton, but perhaps colder?

Don't tell me about it sad.gif . It's getting very cold atm. I have to sleep with my socks laugh.gif . I think it was 6 degrees yesterday bawl.gif !!

I do think Winnipeg is colder than Calgary and Edmonton. Maybe even colder than in Montréal. They seem to have a lot of wind during winter.

Yeah they get to like -40 with the windchill.. not cool laugh.gif Calgary gets that cold sometimes, but thankfully not ALL the time. And yes, autumn is finally here. I sleep with socks too laugh.gif I sleep with 3 blankets actually. But that's because I always lose at least one in my sleep...

My sister will get to experience the cold icy Montreal winter soon laugh.gif I hope it isn't so bad for you guys this year tongue.gif

It's probably the only thing worth a mention that comes from London Ontario ninja.gif .

lol yeah thanks tongue.gif . I don't know if it's because I'm older now, but from what I remember winters when I was a kid were far worse than the ones we had recently. I'm sure we have much less snow, but for the cold, I'm not sure tongue.gif . Anyway, good luck to her tongue.gif .

Joyeuse action de grâce to you too happy.gif. We don't even celebrate it in my family sad.gif. We only care about it because we get a day off cool.gif .

And lol the only thing I know about Calgary is the existence of your western festival and the fact that I hate when my hockey team visits yours. but wrestling unsure.gif ?

Yeah, we don't really "celebrate" it.. this is the first time in a few years that my mom's even cooking laugh.gif It's an excuse to get together with the family (yay fun rolleyes.gif )

Western festival xD You should come to Calgary when the Stampede is on!! Sooo much fun.

Yeah, Calgary has a few famous wrestlers. Ian's fond of the Hart family. I don't know anything about wrestling ninja.gif

And I don't know the track record of Flames/Habs games but one last week.. soooo many Habs fans!!! Usually you can get a clear "GO FLABS GO!" but it so crazy there you couldn't understand anything! laugh.gif And it was a good game.. I thought the Habs were going to win, actually tongue.gif

It wasn't that fun, I went to bed at the beginning of the third period tongue.gif. But it was better than the game in Vancouver sad.gif. Half Girl Hal Gill sucks sad.gif. I want Markov back bawl.gif !!!

And who the hell was that guy who scored a hat trick? Just to make the game even more embarassing lmao.gif .

And if I ever go to Calgary, I'm not sure if I'll go to the Stampede festival laugh.gif .

Way late on this, as I've been absent from these parts for awhile (the joys of not having your own computer rolleyes.gif) but Jarrod: you should definitely come to Vancouver! I moved down here about two months ago and am loving it so far.

I'm used to ridiculously snow filled winters elsewhere in British Columbia, but all the local 'Vancouverites' freak out when they get a few centimetres of it. XD It rains here in the winter, and in general, way more than it snows - it has been raining nonstop for the past day or so. I think it might be time to invest in an umbrella...
