A man with short brown hair patiently rocked back and forth in his chair, moving his hand along the folds in his crisp black suit. He was waiting on Victor’s return. Things have been going extremely well over the past couple of months. He had finally collected enough members of the W.R.O. to gain complete control of the organization from the Tuesti family. The young man who seemed to be in his early twenties continued to move his hand along the folds of his coat, but it wasn’t long before his concentration was broken as a loud knocking echoed trough the office. He sat strait up and pulled himself to his desk. “Come in.” he said as he placed his elbows on his desk, locking his fingers together. He rested his head on his hands as the door knob turned. Into the room walked another fairly young man of the same age, he was dressed in what seemed to be a peasant’s attire. Slowly he approached the desk, smiling as he leaned down placing his hands on the desk. “It’s done Richard, Jacob has agreed to meet with you Monday.” A smile spread across Richards lips as he began to lean back in his chair, moving his arms from the desk and instead folding them over his chest. “Perfect, things are going smoothly, Victor.” Richard’s smile turned almost sinister as he turned his chair to the window “The first leg is almost done old friend, go contact the splinter cells. Tell them to prepare to move.” Victor bowed with a “Yes Sir.” Backing away from the desk at the same time. “It will be done.” Turning on his left heel he exited the room closing the door to the office as Richard continued to look out the window…
The weekend passes quickly as Victor puts into place everything that would be needed for the W.R.O. splinter cell to effectively perform their mission. Monday rolled around not to soon for Richard as he traded his black suit for his best brown business suit. His orders to Victor was to dress “sharply.” “Don’t disappoint me, Victor” He had told him the day before and disappoint the didn’t. Victor stepped in the office dressed in a sharp black business suit complimented by a dark pair of shades, quite a transformation from the jeans and t-shirt he was wearing just a couple days earlier.
With a reaffirming nod Victor lead the way, escorting Richard to the limo that will carry them to the meeting with Jacob across town. The two make their way through the brightly lit corridors of Edge and out into the parking facility where a jet black stretch was waiting. Upon reaching the Limo, Victor grabbed the door and opened it for Richard like his own personal chauffeur, then, after making sure Richard was in safely, he slid in behind him slamming the door shut. A pat on the glass signaled to the driver that they were ready to go. The limo rolls to a start as they pull out of Shin-Ra’s parking lot. Soon they were on their way. The scenery passing was melancholic at best the entire city was grey. Depressing, actually. I think my city will be brightly lit and colorful. A true metropolis, what do you think? Victor?” His long time friend just nodded, and pointed his attention towards the front. Fifteen minutes had passed quickly and they were now pulling into the World Restoration Organization‘s Headquarters. The Limo pulled up to the large double doors at the front and stopped, these doors were adorned with the symbol that by now had become famous throughout all of Gaia, the protectors of the planet, so to speak. The new AVALANCHE, even. Victor opened the passenger the door and steps out. Taking a brief moment to adjust his tie. He then stood in attention by the door, acting as a guard allowing Richard to get out safely.
After Richard exited the vehicle and started toward the building, Victor slammed the car‘s door and patted the roof twice. The limo begins to roll off as Victor promptly follows behind Richard. They enter through the double wide doors. He fumbled through his pockets, locating a key chain with a large square button. He moved his thumb around the button several times as they walked through the door, locking eyes with the man standing guard. He pressed the button on the keychain once, it had now been set into motion.
The two men made their way through the complex, a left turn here a right turn there. Within five minutes The security guards were pressing the button that opened the automated doors that lead into the conference room. The two large doors swung open slowly, through the increasing crack between the massive doors Victor is able to catch a glimpse of the legendary leader of the W.R.O. He was sitting in his desk, watching carefully and vigilantly as Richard moved inside the room. Victor and Richard were both inside the room when the doors began to close behind them. Jacob, somewhat annoyed that he’d just been locked in with two strangers, stood up and greeted his guests with a firm handshake. “Good to finally meet you in person, Richard Shinra. It‘s nice to put a face to the voice that‘s been pestering me over the phone for the last few weeks” He laughed somewhat nervously as he barked out his web of lies. Richard, not one to be outdone, returned the formality with the same lie “Same here Jacob.. He loosened the grip on Jacob’s hand before chuckling a bit himself. After the two traded their greetings they made their way to the large oval table and sat at opposite ends. The table was rather fancy, but was something you’d expect to see in the conference room of one of the wealthiest men on the planet. The ornate trim that surrounded the edges was something that you could only get from the finest Wutai craftsmen. Richard’s attention seemed to wander from Jacob to the table. He ran his fingers along the trim once or twice before speaking up. “This really is a fine piece of décor.” Jacob was a bit taken back from the man’s sudden comment. It’s not that he thought this conversation was too serious, but rather he didn’t expect such a statement from one so young. But it was clear that Richard was well refined. “It was a gift from the Emperor of Wutai, for taking care of some minor issues a few years ago.”
Richard nodded his head some, he began to continue the conversation but was interrupted when Victor walked up behind him and stood at ease with his hands crossing one another on his stomach. “Now that the formalities are over lets get down to business, Mr. Tuesti. I’m here to offer you a easy way out. This is in no way a deal, but rather an ultimatum. Relinquish control of the W.R.O. to me, give me complete power over the troops and I won‘t be forced to crush you like the insignificant bug you truly are.” Jacob sat silently for a moment, staring at the young man in front of him with quite a bit of contempt. He mulled over the proposal for a moment, or at least he looked like he did. “I never would have thought that the son of a good man like your father would have fallen so far from the tree. He would be ashamed of you, if he knew what you were up to. Which he doesn’t, am I correct in assuming that you are acting purely by yourself? He stopped for a moment, to raise his palm to his face. If that is all you wanted you can leave, unless you’d rather be escorted out. I‘ll also be informing William of this meeting after your departure. Have a good day, Richard”
Richard shook his head and raised his arms in a shrugging position as a disappointed look spread across his face. “I was really hoping that you would be more willing to step down, but now you’ve forced my hand, Jacob. Richard’s left hand formed a ball as he snapped his fingers. Immediately Victor pulls the small keychain from his pocket and presses the button once more, a faint beeping noise is heard just mere moments before a small squadron of W.R.O. operatives bust through the large titanium doors surrounding the room, all wielding light machineguns. They surround the table leveling their weapons on Jacob‘s center. The leader’s eyes widened as he slid back only to be stopped by members of his own army. The very men that he gave his life and his time to train and turn into soldiers, to protect the people of this planet. “What is the meaning of this mutiny!?” Richard laughed in a rather nonchalant manner at Jacob’s retort as he rose from his seat and circled the table to Jacob. “It’s simple, this is a corporate take over. Using your precious army I’m going to take over my fathers company, take control over what is rightfully mine to begin with. You could have been a part of this, Jacob. You could have held a position of power, if only you had given in to my demands.” The son of the president paused, he lifted his hand and moved his fingers through his tidy combed back hair. “Proceed with the operation Captain.” He motioned towards the guard standing directly behind Jacob.
The captain pulls out his radio and pushes the call button. “Commence operation Black Ball.” The order rang out across the headquarters on every radio on the same frequency. Seconds later the roar of automatic gun fire opens up all over the compound. The splinter cells came to life, subduing all who wasn’t approached by Richard with this sinister plan. For what seemed like forever the building was filled with the sounds of death. Jacob could only stand by in horror as all he had worked for in life was destroyed. Soon the gunfire ceased, only the deafening sound of silence was heard. Richard made his approach back to the doors, opening them and allowing two W.R.O. operatives to rush into the room. They were holding another operative captive so she couldn’t move. Richard bended over some, grabbing her face and angling it toward Jacob so that he could clearly see her. “Now, now, Miss Starr. Don’t be so hostile. There’s nothing wrong happening here. Just a friendly training mission. But, I’m afraid I will require you to pledge your loyalty to me now.” Anger could be seen filling the young lady’s face as she struggled to get free. “Never! I’ll never pledge my loyalty to a man that can do something this vile! “ Not only did she straight up refuse the request given to her, but she also made it a point to spit onto her captor’s boots. Richard could only smile as he reached for her left hand, gently caressing her fingers before taking note of the ring on her finger. “Ah.”, he gasped as he began to spin the engagement ring. “Victor.” He turns to his friend, placing a sinister smile across his features. That was all it took to inform Victor of what needed to be done, in one swift motion his black dress shoe connected with Jacob’s jaw, sending him spiraling to the floor. After readjusting his tie he pulled the sword out of the Captain’s sheath and dropped to a single knee beside Jacob‘s recovering form. He viciously grabbed Jacob by the hair, yanking him up several inches off the floor and sliding the edge of the sword under his neck, touching the skin slightly. The sharp blade’s soft touch was enough to begin drawing blood without applying much pressure at all.
“Wait!” The scream erupted from Elizabeth, tears running down her checks in streams. “Fine! I pledge my loyalty to you and your filthy ambitions! Just don‘t harm him!” The cries of mercy made Richard’s evil grin grow even wider. “Good, good.” He reached behind her back, rubbing his hand across her spine softly before grabbing the handcuffs off her belt. “If you gentlemen would be kind enough to release her now, we can get this going.” The guards reluctantly loosened their grasp, allowing the small framed woman to collapse to the ground. “It’s so good to have you onboard for this operation, Miss Starr. Your first duty under my control is to place Mr. Tuesti under arrest. Jail him in one of your cells here. Then you are to watch guard over him until other accommodations can be made. Mr. Hamma. He motioned to the guard behind Elizabeth. Please escort Miss Starr, make sure there is no funny business, kill her if you have too.”
Victor released his hold on Jacob allowing the weeping Elizabeth to handcuff her fiancé while he handed the Captain back his sword. Leaving the former leader of the W.R.O in their hands, Victor took his position to Richard’s rear left, awaiting for further orders. “I’m leaving you in charge, captain. You’ll only answer to Victor or myself from now on. Proceed with business as usual, though. I don’t want any unwanted attention brought to the W.R.O.. Maintain Jacob’s image of the company and withhold this knowledge from the public. If word leaks, we‘re ruined.” He signaled for Victor to follow him out as Elizabeth and Hamma escorted Jacob from the meeting room into the HQ holding cells. Richard and Voctor made their way through the halls. The once white and pure corridors were sprayed crimson now. But the countless bodies that littered the complex hallway barely even caught the two’s attention. Victor, largely ignoring the squishing noises beneath his feat, reached back into his pocket. After a few moments of looking, he locates and pulls out a small black phone, which he uses to call the limo back to pick he and Richard up. “Phase one is completed, Victor. But… To accomplish phase two I need to get you an education.” The two young men stepped into the limo, giving one last glance behind them before riding off.

Richard fidgets with his tie as Victor walks into the room. He is now dressed in a dark blue suit, the prototype of what is soon to be a symbol, an image for the Turks. Richard, barely able to finish tying his tie directs his attention to the mirror in front of him. But not at himself, but at his long time friend behind him. “Today’s the big day, all our hard work is starting to pay off with my promotion to Vice President. The good news doesn’t end there, though. Professor Whare tells me that he has devised a design for a Mako Reactor that won’t kill the planet. That means that our little project will be ready to start shortly. Victor pulled off his shades and hung them from his outer pocket. Richard’s plans were all going according to schedule, but it was still too soon to celebrate… Even if they were this close to realizing his dreams, everything could still come crashing down around them with even the slightest mistake. The young president in the making had finished straightening his collar and was motioning for Victor to follow him.
They walked down the hallway, following the arrows to the meeting hall in in the northern wing of the building. President William Shinra was throwing a corporate party for Richard, in honor of his success in gaining the respect of his peers. They opened the doors and were immediately greeted by a round of applause jungle of suits. This was a celebration in his honor and Richard was eating it up. He gave a short speech thanking everyone for trusting him with this prestigious position. It included everything that one would find in such a speech. As he ended another round of applause went up to accompany him off stage. Then the festivities began. Tifa’s Seventh Heaven was catering the event, and they brought out the finest of foods and wines. The large cake covered nearly 6 square feet and probably cost more gil than the average man made in a single lifetime. It was placed on a table, the design was fantastic but the center of attention on it were the words “Congratulations, Mr. Vice President” engraved with frosting at the center of the cake. The party lasted for hours, Richard took the time to rub elbows and make friends with the corporate higher ups, each and every one of them before the night was done. The event was ended with the bring out of the very best wine gil could buy and needless to say both Richard and Victor got smashed.. Several times. It was quite a sight seeing watching the two stagger back to the office. One must have had a hard time deciding whether to watch them fall around clumsily or watch the erotic entertainment. They both hit the ground several time on the way, but soon enough Richard was back in his chair as Victor sat on the couch, his tie now tied around his forhead .
“Vicky….Vicaroo.. Victorf…. Oui..Or planns is cooming tooo fruitation. After …… we get …..me moved into the Vice Pre…pre..President’s office we’ll commemorate the operation.” Richard’s words weren’t even coherent, but rather senseless rambling which abruptly ended as he passed out on his desk. It struck Victor funny as he felt it appropriate to fall into a fit of laugher which ended with him falling face first into the floor. But that too is cut short as he quickly faded from reality as well…
The two are awakened by the cleaning lady the next day at around ten o’clock in the morn. Both had a splitting headache but they had to move forward, not look back at the festivities gone wrong the night before. The process to move Richard into the office of the Vice President began shortly after their awakening. After getting things straight Richards first act of power is to appoint Victor as his personal bodyguard so he had legal access to the Vice-President’s office at all times. The plan began moving quickly after this day. Victor was set into action, making his way to the W.R.O. to begin preparations of reestablishing SOLDIER, a group that had long since been forgotten. On top of this Victor selected the two men that become the first Turks. Another group long since forgotten in time.
In a matter of months with the help of his two associates Victor has information coming in from all over Gaia. But it wasn’t until a year later when Victor was finally able to gain the trust of Candice McClayne, the Director of Urban Development, and keeper of William’s business files, that he learned of the President’s biggest plan. The one that would set Richard’s sinister ideals into motion months before schedule. It was a dank Friday afternoon when Victor busted into Richard’s office with the bad news, William was hammering out a deal with Highwind & Wallace Oil for a full on partnership. Richard almost collapsed when he hears the news.
Richard Straightens his tie as he gives Victor the signal. Without hesitation the Turk breezes though the security door that Candice “conveniently” left open. With the reflexes of a cat he pulled out his Electro Mag-Rod and viciously attacks President Shinra’s bodyguard like a rabid Bandersnatch.. Richard calmly walks in behind the carnage, holding a pistol which is pointed directly at dear old daddy’s chest. Williams wide eyes focus on his son with a mixture of fright, surprise, and outrage. He begins to furiously shake as he addresses his son. “What is the meaning of this Richard?!” His son only chuckled as he brings a file out of his coat pocket and tosses it on his father’s desk. “You’ll address me as ‘Sir’ from now on, father. You see, using all the resources at my disposal I’ve bought 51 percent of this company. That file holds the required documentation, if you don’t believe me. I have found your recent behaviors not in the best interest of Shin-Ra Electric Power and Coal Unlimited. So I have decided to pull my weight and take the company from you in a hostile takeover, with full emphasis on hostile.” William Shinra collapsed into his seat as he absorbed all that just been said to him. It was almost like he couldn’t wrap his brain around his son’s actions. Or maybe it was that he didn’t believe what his son had just done. Richard didn’t really see fit to give him the time to try to understand, either. He made his way around the desk and grabbed the phone. “It will be a cold day in hell before I allow you to sully this company’s name, no our legacy, by combining it with the likes of H&W Oil.” Williams eyes narrow at the mention of that company’s name, how could his son have found out about that. That is when his attention finally adverts back to Victor. That suit and weapon. It was then that he realized what his son was up to. But it was too late to do anything now. Two armed security guards had entered the room with full intent on holding him captive. Richard watches emotionlessly as his own father is carted off to an office that was set up like a makeshift prison. Calmly the NEW President of Shinra walked to the end of the desk, taking care to make sure that his father’s nameplate was knocked where it belonged, into the trash. He looks to Victor before turning to enjoy the view from his shiny new office. “Soon our goals will be reached. The only thing that stands in our way is now is H&W Oil. Our chief competitor. But my foolish father has unwittingly sealed their fate by setting up that duel board meeting.” He turned his attention away from the bustling city below and to his colleague. “Timing can’t be lost. Start organizing a new SOLDIER unit from the best of the W.R.O. ranks, Miss Starr will spearhead the assault on H&W Oil home office in two weeks as we dismantle it’s power base here.”
Friday, two weeks later. Candice is ushering the co-owners of H&W Oil and their board into the meeting room at Edge City. They sit and make themselves comfortable, talking amongst themselves as Candice exit’s the room, promising that President William would be there shortly. But soon the lie becomes apparent as Richard enters the room with an armed escort of W.R.O. soldiers. James jumped to his feet as he sees the small militia group enter the room. “What is the meaning of this Vice-President!?” Richard only motions with his hands for James to be seated. But when he doesn’t comply he is helped by one of the armed guards. “Before I throw you in jail… I just want you to see what is to become of you lovely compound back in Rocket Town.”
As Richard speaks he turns to the side and pulls a small remote from his coat pocket. With a light tap on one of the buttons a monitor slides out from behind a wall panel and flashes on. What can be seen is H&W Oil home office. Smoke pours from the windows as heavy bombardment hits the building from mobile armored vehicles. James and Jeremy can only look on in horror as their base is destroyed by the specialized unit that were running about on screen.
James is the first to make a move. He motioned to the rest of the group, they would try to escape. Only Jeremy and two other men were too fixated on the horror movie that was playing out back home to take notice of James‘ bold move. He and most of the other board men bolted for the doors. But Richard catches on quickly and motions for the guards to open fire. Wounding all but James, who managed to duck, roll, and bust through the double doors. However, for all his trying he had the severe misfortune of running into Victor outside the doors. The large, brutish man, back hands James, knocking him straight to the floor. Still in a daze, he looks up to see his reflection in Victor’s dark shades. A look of disgust crossing his face as a pistol is leveled on his head. Victor looks to Richard to see what he would say. He was greeted only with a smile. A symbol that he doesn’t care. A sinister moment occurred as James begged for his life at the hands of the Turk. “Make an example of him Victor.” Richard spoke as he had Jeremy and the other board members placed in shackles. The color in James’ face faded as the ghastly orders were given. He tries to plead one last time, but his begging is cut short. A single shot echoes out. The bullet rips through James’ head two centimeters above his left eye. Jeremy screams as he struggles to free himself but to no avail. His friend and long time partner now laid dead in the hallway floor. As the soldiers pull Jeremy and the other two men past Richard, he tells them to throw them in with his farther. The President then turns to the other armed guards that stood over the wounded men. “Clean up this mess would you.” Gunfire opens up as Richard closes the door behind him.

The plans for Neo-Midgar are given the green light and Wutai is the place selected to break ground. Chief architect and weapon designer David Johnson is selected as the project’s supervisor. Professor Whare prefects the new Mako reactor designs and begins testing the new SOLDIER showering process. Richard officially renames the corporation back to Shin-Ra Electric Power Company

Victor stands over the bodies of his two long time friends, Michael and Hale, the very men that he reestablished the Turks with on the outskirts of Wutai so many years ago. He radios back into home base and with the grim report : “Richard, this is Victor. It’s confirmed, Elizabeth Starr has betrayed us. I’ve set up a perimeter to try and catch her… Over.” He stoops over the bodies briefly, bending down to gather their nametags. He collects them and carefully slides them into his coat. Victor then signals for the bodies to be loaded into the chopper as he himself climbs into the cockpit and mans the controls. Back to Neo-Midgar, Richard’s shining city.
~Present Day~
The day starts off with a company wide announcement as Victor makes his way to the SOLDIER Floor.
“We regrettably inform all employees that Elisabeth Starr, faithful long time employee and Director of SOLDIER, was killed in action recently after several months of being held captive by Avalanche operatives. We offer our deepest condolences to family and friends. That is all.”
Ignoring the announcement, Victor continued his way into the training facility. Approaching a lone SOLDIER operative. He stands behind the man for several moments before clearing his throat. Yeah, yeah. I knew you were there old man. Can‘t you see I‘m busy? The rather outspoken individual turns around to see Victor standing behind him. Although he has seen this person with the President on many occasions, he didn’t know who he was or what role he played in the company outside bodyguard. “SOLDIER First Class: Luscious Hayze. You are to report to the President’s office in half and hour.” Without another word Victor turns and walks out of the training facility, leaving Luscious on his own again.
Sinner - August 13, 2008 11:38 AM (GMT)
It was early in the morning, and Sinner had just waked up and was preparing to go to work, cooking a simple breakfast while she took out her clothes. Putting the neatly folded clothes on her bed, she quickly crossed the bedroom, went through the kitchen in a few paces and took hold of a frying pan that stood on the stove throwing the contents up in the air and down again, landing face down in the frying pan. Sinner was singing in low key, only faintly audible over the frying pans *fssssh* She went back into the bedroom and took on a pair of pants, taking them on while holding a shirt in her mouth, while walking back towards the kitchen.
*Bang* Sinners singing was cut short as she fell over and hit the floor.
"Ow." She spat out the shirt and got up, putting on the pants while standing still, zipping and buttoning them before putting on the shirt, buttoning it, and tucking it down her pants before continuing to the kitchen again. Once she arrived she took up the frying pan, placing the contents on a plate and then placed the frying pan in the sink, drowning it with water. She took the plate and put it on a medium sized table; placed around it were 4 chairs, two on each side. She just put it down in front of the closest chair, taking out a pair of utensils as well as a glass, then from her fridge she took out a 1 liter package of milk, formed like a four-sided pyramid and placed this on the table as well.
She stretched her arms over her head, feeling completed from her sleep and stuffed after her breakfast. "Ah~." She stood up and put everything in the sink, creating a pool of water in the sink, she would have to dish later when she got home. She walked to the bathroom, washed her face as well as brushed her teeth, She had showered just before heading to bed yesterday, so she was still fresh, she took up some perfume and applied it extremely gently, giving her only a small fraction of the fragrance, but enough to cover any form of leftover sweat since yesterday.
she took out her fake moles, shuddering at the momentarily feeling of dislocation as a hole appeared inside her nerve. She was standing in her bedroom, one of her arm blades lying on the bed, and the other one was in her hand, both of them had their blades fully extended and had been cleaned just yesterday. She inserted the arm blade needle into the now gaping hole in her arm, once again shuddering from the feeling of alien interference. Over the years it the feeling had decreased, since she wore them daily, it still produced a strange initial feeling. Once the needle was fully inserted into her arm, the arm blade clanked shut around her forearm, the blade detracting into its scabbard like metal box, only vaguely visible from the rest of the metal casing now going around her arm. She rolled down her shirts arm, covering the arm blade completely. Rolling up the other arm, she did the same and then tried the extension mechanism out a few times, the blades flickering in and out flawlessly. She then strapped on her belt containing a holster for her sidearm, which she inserted into the holster. She then began filling all small leather straps on her legs with the throwing needles, putting on and continuing to fill the tuxedo jacket. She then completed her dressing, and walked out her front door, clad in boots, long coat and a pair of shades, locking the door behind her and walking to her motorcycle, sat down and made sure her coat was in no danger of getting stuck anywhere, and drove of towards the huge city, Neo midgar.
She pulled into the parking garage to the side of the gigantic Shin-Ra building, parking at her usual spot, choking the ignition, taking out the key and when she walked away she locked the whole bike, it was a new form of lock system recently invented for bikes, where every movable part locked in place, the throttles locked themselves and even the stands were locked in place. She nodded at the security guard, who was the same every day, except Fridays. Heading inside she bought a mug of coffee at a vending machine and headed to a nearby sofa. "Still fifteen minutes before I am supposed to be here..."

~Kaleida Lanos: Morals Without Borders~
The growling of the engines kept Kaleida's mind sharp, the noise enough to make some of the teams squirm in discomfort. The team of SOLDIERs sitting in the vehicle Kaleida sat in were impassive, save for the Director of SOLDIER herself, Elisabeth Starr, who looked restless, much like Kaleida.
"ETA in 5 minutes. Keep sharp. You know what to do." Kaleida caught Elisabeth's eye, and she managed a weak smile and a small nod, before looking away.
It had been like this ever since the takeover of ShinRa. Elisabeth refused to tell Kaleida what was wrong, even though as mentor and student, and between friends, they had known each other for years. And Kaleida hadn't seen her fiancee, Jacob, in a long time. But she knew better than to ask. There were some things not worth risking life to find out.
Five minutes later, hell broke loose in Rocket Town, as the personnel carriers briskly stopped and unloaded all manner of SOLDIER, weaponry and explosives, and raided the town. Through the smoke and fire, Kaleida knew what to do.
Third building on left. She could not make out many shapes anymore, all smoke and smell of gunpowder, but found the door, and burst through it with the authority of a Turk.
She spotted the only person in the room, an inconspicuously dressed man with bulging muscles hidden by swathes of clothing, and before he could pick up the revolver lying on the table, Kaleida jumped over the table, pinning him to the wall by the scruff of his collar. The man almost broke down in shock.
"P-p-ple-please, don't kill..." The man's eyes widened at the sight of Kaleida, with one of her pistols jammed into the underside of his jaw.
"Shut up." Kaleida looked around. "There isn't time."
"These are blueprints to Neo-Midgar." Kaleida slid a small disc into the man's front pocket. "With this," she said, sliding a folded letter into the same pocket, "is a letter explaining everything. Go back to the HQ, and tell them that 'Boss' sent these with you. They'll know."
It took a while for the realisation to bloom across the man's face. "Are you - you're the-"
"Shut up. Tell me the locations of the strikes. I need names if I'm ever going to help you guys."
"How - how can I-"
"You can trust me." This was Kaleida's defining moment as a Turk; the ability to flaunt the pretty face and those large, serious deep blue eyes to win a man's 'trust'.
"Uhh... there's a few small bombs here and there, uh - sleeper agents in Junon and a few saboteurs in Corel, and other things. Hey, take this list, you probably need it more than I do-"
Kaleida took it wordlessly, but before they could leave, a SOLDIER burst through the door.
"Hey! What are you doing, kill him already-"
In a flash, Kaleida grabbed the revolver off the table, and fired a neat shot at the SOLDIER, tearing a bullet through his throat. Not even pausing to look as he gurgled, slumping to the floor as blood spilled everywhere, Kaleida turned back to the man, who was rubbing his neck rather distractedly having seen it all happen in less than half a second.
"Do you have a car or something?"
"Y-yeah. Out back-"
"Use it. Get out of here as fast as you can, and get your ass to the cells."
Kaleida emptied the rest of the revolver at the walls, before taking out several speedloaders and reloading the gun with one, and gritting her teeth as she aimed the gun back at her shoulder.
The flash of pain as she fired was almost unbearable.
As her eyes blurred, she handed back the gun with her left hand to the man, who stood there in shock. "Go. Go!"
It took a shove towards the door before the man broke into a stumbling run, and then Kaleida chose her spot to bleed over, slumping against the wall, making a point of wiping blood against it as she slid to the floor.
What was minutes seemed like hours before more SOLDIER forces found her in the burning building, with blood staining almost all of the right side of her clothes. "They got Jonson, got away..." And while they picked her off the ground, the throbbing pain turned into a sharp jolt and she finally passed out.
The room was absolutely dead silent, and terribly lit, with a single dingy light bulb above the table, and someone senior from Intelligence sitting across the table, staring at Kaleida with dead calm, a recorder on the desk and a notepad in front of him for references. Kaleida was not wearing her Turk jacket, and felt strangely uneasy.
"I entered the building approximately one minute after arrival at destination with SOLDIER Third Class Jonson. We encountered a suspect armed with a six-shot revolver, who fired immediately as we entered. Jonson was hit first, and I fell back for cover as he continued to fire in my general direction. As I stood from my cover, the man reloaded, and fired another shot, wounding me in the right shoulder. Before I could draw my other gun to neutralise the threat, the perpetrator fled. I checked the status of Jonson, but he had been shot in the throat, and was most certainly dead."
There was a moment's silence as the man wrote on his notepad, and then he turned off the recorder, and looked up again.
"You killed the Third Class, didn't you?"
There was more silence. It was less of a question, more of a statement.
"You have to learn not to throw away SOLDIER lives like they're water, Boss. That's not how Intelligence works."
"The SOLDIER could have compromised the mission by interfering-"
"It doesn't mean that you have to kill them." The man adjusted the glasses on his nose. "You know that there were other Intel operatives in the area. Some of them have been trying to keep a close eye on you, Boss, and going around killing SOLDIERs isn't going to make them go away."
"Here's a list of strikes and attacks the new AVALANCHE are preparing for." Kaleida brought out her trump card; sliding the piece of paper across the table. The man picked it up calmly, but she could see the glint of greed in his eyes.
He kept his composure as he read through the list. "Nice work, Lanos." He pocketed it. "You may go."
"Glad to be of assistance, sir." Kaleida got out of her chair, walking for the door.
"Oh, and Boss..." Kaleida hardly turned around as she stopped, waiting for the question. "How much exactly did you give them in exchange for the information?"
You have no idea.
"Nothing too important, sir." Kaleida walked out before the officer could ask any more questions.
TO BE COMPLETED
Sinner - August 31, 2008 12:28 AM (GMT)
after fifteen boring and event less minutes, Sinner got up threw her can of coffee into a trash can. and walked into the main office of the intelligence service.
one of the desk workers she knew looked up, nodding in her direction.
"Ah, blue good morning, there some new work for you field agents, I put the file up on the wall, in the usual biometric casing, no one else has arrived yet so snatch it while its hot."
Sinner nodded with a smile. Field agents huh? Well I guess such a nice title sounds about good. She walked over to the board, which was more of a set of different cases stuck into a wall, in different colors some with lock and some without. the "field job" casing was white, and had a small finger sized black square on it. A biometric lock, telling exactly who opened it and when. Restrictive access to turk members only.
Sinner pulled of her right glove and pressed her thumb against the small square, it lit up in first a yellow light, showing it was accessing the records, and then lit up green and a slight thump was heard as the lock itself disengaged. She fished up a ordinary yellowish brown folder, marked with red text. "top secret." She put it in her left armpit and put on the right glove again, walking to her office. It was small, but then so was her rank, closing the seemingly wooden door behind her, she looked around the small cargo box office, that was at least what it felt like. It contained nothing personal, just a desk, a chair a hanger next to the door, for clothes and hats and a pair of bookshelves, were several nondescript hardback folders were placed, each labeled after a year. these folders all contained censured copies of her mission reports the uncensored versions only available for the highest ranking Shinra operatives in certain branches.
She threw the folder onto the desk, and hung up her coat on the wall. before sitting down at the desk opening the folder.
"Ah, a negotiation action... forceful repositioning of some kid, blah blah blah. Shinra has a way to keep important things like these in a very undignified ways." She closed the folder and leaned back, placing her boots on her desk.
Thinking back on her first mission like this, back then she had been extremely naive, forcing herself to think that what she did was for the greater good, these days she thought in a similar way, but vastly different. what she did was not made in the interested of everyone, what she did was of interest for the company
"I still feel kind of sorry for the kid though, its not like its her fault to be caught up in her fathers business mistakes."
Sinner sighed, sometimes bothered by the companies ways, which were efficient and all, but sometimes not really agreeable with, well it was not like she could speak such traitorous thoughts out loud. In the end, she was loyal to the company and enjoyed her somewhat safe life, with just enough brushes with death to keep it exciting.
"Time to go to work then. She got up, and left the room, locking it as she went.
Drake - September 10, 2008 05:34 AM (GMT)
Luscious watched as the strange man turned around and exited the training facility. Tch. A meeting with the president eh? He stretched his arms over his head and leaned from side to side. Suppose it has something to do with that announcement that was just made. He slowly shifted his head up and stared at the winding decorative patterns that filled the ceiling. The longer he stared the more the patterns seemed to run together, eventually even seemingly forming a familiar face. I wonder how she died. She seemed way too tough to be killed by the likes of AVALANCE.
Time simply slipped away with Luscious sometimes. He'd get lost in his own thoughts often, some wondered how he became as strong as he was. He always seemed to have his head in the clouds and this was no exception. Before he realized it, 35 minutes had passed without he knowing. He was late, and it's certain that the President didn't want to be kept waiting by the sound of the intercom buzzing to life.
First Class SOLDIER operative Luscious Bahn Hayze, please report to the President's office immediately
In near comical fashion Luscious' eyes widened as he eyed a nearly clock. SHIT! Wasting no more time he darted off to the elevator, pushing a secretary out of the way as the door opened. Sorry Ma'am big rush here, catch the next one, k? He gave a large toothy grin and waved at the poor girl as the door slowly shut in front of him. The inside was lavish, much like the rest of the building. Red Velvet and oak lined the walls, even the little light that showed the floor number was made with a very fancy font. He kept his eyes pinned to it as the numbers slowly went up. 67, 68, 69, and... 70! The door opened and he darted out of the elevator, his rifle nearly banging into the side of the door on the way out.
Where's it at? So many doors. Head of Urban Development, Science, ect, ect... AH! Presidential Office. He stopped briefly in front of the door, regaining his composure and straightening out the ruffles in his SOLDIER uniform. He raised his hand to the door, seemingly about to knock but instead pushed it open and strolled right in. Richard was sitting at his desk in front of a computer screen and Victor was staring at him intently from Richard's side. How yah doing captain? First Class and all around best SOLDIER ever Luscious Bahn Hayze at your service. What can I do you for? Need that scary guy beside you beaten up? He made his way into the office and took a seat in front of Richard's desk, waiting for the President's reply.

Victor straightened his stance as the door flung open, his eyes cut sharply to the door. It was SOLDIER 1st Class Luscious Hayze coming through the office door. Victor slightly looked down at his watch, over thirty minutes late, was Richard making the right choice in appointing this fool Director? President Shinra’s eyes cut from the computer screen to Hayze as he nonchalantly took a seat in front of him. Richards brown suit rustled slightly as brought his left hand up to his chin, an almost intrigued look came over his face. An eerie silence fell over the office as Richard sat and peered into Luscious’ eyes. Moments ticked away, but it seems like hours before a chuckle escapes Richards throat as the squeaking of his chair cuts through the air. Pulling his desk drawer open Richard pulls out a seven inch rectangle and fumbles with it before he speaks.
“Mr. Hayze, it was brought to my attention some time ago that you were the best of any that Elisebith had ever had the pleasure of training, in fact she was going to appoint you to sub-director at some point before she became MIA. Anyway that’s neither here nor there, the reason I have summoned you here is to appoint you Director of SOLDIER, that means a new office with a comfy big leather chair like mine. You no longer are required to be a field agent, but if your anything like her, I don’t see that happening. Anyway do you have anything to…..” The intercom buzzes before Richard could offer the New Director a comment on his promotion. “Yes Mrs. McClayne.” A soft voice came over the intercom striking a stark contrast to Richards deep voice. “The other Directors are here for the meeting Sir.” Richard paused briefly to nod toward Victor. “Thank you Mrs. McClayne, send them in..
As Richard was talking to Candice Victor was walking to the large open space to the left of the President’s desk. His left hand followed the seam of his coat, tracing his way to his pocket; he soon pulls out a small key chain with a square box, he presses the black button in the center. Moments later a low hum can be hears as the floor before him splits, from the hole emerges a finely crafted tabled, the twin of the WRO table, emerges from the shadows. Around the table were large leather seats enough for every executive plus the president. As the table locks in place Richard throws the object he was holding at Luscious. It was a name plate beautifully hand carved from black oak, the plate minted in silver bore his name. “Welcome to the top son. And I do apologize, I ordered it in gold, but this is what was delivered.” Richard chuckled as the office door slid open.
First in was David Johnson, a man of short stature but great ethic, he is the Director of Weapons Development. He is also the renown architect of Neo Midgar. As he passes Hayze he gives a slight bow in respect before he heads to his seat directly to the left of the presidents chair. A low hiss introduces the next person in as a Tonberry appears in the door way, it briefly pauses before enters followed by a older gentleman, it was Dsurion Keapar Director of Public Safety and Maintenance. He was feared throughout the company as the sternest of the Directors. He walks up to Hayze and gives him a hearty handshake before he heads to the table. He takes the middle chair opposite of David. Another hiss is heard as Dsurion sets as another Tonberry rushes in almost tripping. It gets to Dsurion and hops into his lap as Candice McClayne makes her way in, aside from being Richards secretary she is the Director of Urban Development and Relations , she gives Hayze a small smile as she passes him taking her place next to David.
There is a long pause before Joseph Whare enters the room, he looks angered as he passes Luscious, paying him no mind he looks straight to Richard with “I hope you know this is cutting into valuable research time.” Richard just smiles as he follows the good professor to the table. When he arrives he places his hand on the table then looks to Hayze. Coming?” After Luscious makes his way to the table short introductions are made as Victor begins to pass out sealed documentation.
Richard takes his seat as Victor dims the lights. A T.V. screen lowers from the ceiling and turns on. The Shin-Ra logo spins for a minute while Richard motions for the documents to be opened. As the documents are opened Victor grabs a remote and hit’s the play button, a picture of Elisabeth pops up then Victor begins to Speak. But before he can a Tonberry in a black cloak falls from the ceiling landing on Victor’s left shoulder, with a playful hiss it reaches it’s right hand out to Victor as it tail slightly wraps around Victors neck to help hold it in place. Victor pulls a small pair of shades identical to his out and hands them to the Tonberry, then hitting the light he begins. “Several months ago Elisabeth Starr Defected from Shin-Ra and became a mercenary, she killed two high ranking Turks and made off with a bunch of Classified INTEL.” Pressing a button the two dead Turks are shown . “We‘re still not sure exactly what she got, what ever it was it was all copies and no hard files. Pressing another button a small facility is shown “We tracked her to this small facility, a fire fight ensued but she again eluded capture, later it was discovered that she had been meeting with Avalanche for some time here. Pressing the button a last time a picture of Elisabeth talking to a man in a Costa Del Sol pub comes across the screen. “We lost all trace of Ms. Starr for several months, but last week a photographer stumbled upon her and took this photo. The man she is with is Donavan Frashier, he is a high ranking member of Avalanche. It is thought that she was meeting him to actually join them.” The meeting lasted little more then thirty minutes. Richard then clears his throat as Victor hits the lights. “From this day forward Elisabeth Starr is considered a high ranking threat to the company, she is to be apprehended on sight. Any questions or comments before I dismiss you?”

Luscious ran his hands through his hair and stared quite blankly at the president after the presentation. Normally, he'd have some kind of outburst in this situation. About SOLDIER honor and how the troops deserve to know that their beloved leader isn't dead. But seeing as how that could cause an uproar and even chime in the possibility of her closest trainees betraying Shinra and defecting to AVALANCHE with her, he thought that what the president was doing was the safest bet.
I suppose I have no real comments here captain. So if you don't mind, I'll be taking my leave. You interrupted my training regime and I've put in for a vacation a few months ago that starts today, with my girlfriend, Salina. You guys probably know her. She's the eccentric chick from Weapons Development that blew up half the west wing last year? Yeah. So I'll catch you suites later.
He stood and, gave a grin, and left the room. It wasn't that he really cared about his training and the vacation wasn't even going to start for another few hours. This was just annoying to him. A promotion was cool and all, and he definitely doesn't mind the increased paycheck that comes with it. But taking the place of Elizabeth? He put his left palm to the side of his face and walked back into the training facility as the intercom started to buzz and cackle.
Attention all Shin-Ra employees. We have another announcement to make. We'd like everybody to congratulate SOLDIER 1st Class Luscious Bahn Hayze on his recent promotion to Director of SOLDIER and would like to wish him a good time on his week - long vacation. Have fun in Costal Del Sol, Mr. Hayze.
Luscious looked up at the intercom and then towards the dozen of so SOLDIER operatives staring at him from the other side of the room. I'm so shocked to hear this news! Me? Director? Oh my!
Now get back to training you lazy asswipes.
He a gave short laugh and a wink as they applauded his promotion. Maybe this won't be so bad he thought to himself and he finished up his daily training schedule and left for home.
(Hey guys, had to take my character out of the RP for a bit. Cause like Luscious, I'm going on a week vacation with mah girlfriend. :P)
