Well, it's been years since the Great Ezboard Disaster of 2005, and a lot of changes have taken place in the world. And yes, this has also been true of ez/Yuku. Of course, many many things took place that were not positive, but currently Kickapps is in charge and while it may not have given what Labby promised Yuku's users, it has at least at last begun to make some changes for the better. Most notably they've started to "clean house" of some of the worst elements that plagued the Labatt era (including "retiring" several of the more notorious of the so called staff there). Gone from their ranks are Pink, Mushy (Mish), Ransom, Brian James and others who helped give ez/Yuku under Labatt its well deserved negative reputation.

Again, while Yuku has not become what Labby said it would become, it looks to be moving at least toward some semblance of stability now. And with the new ownership, the need for this board has become much less relevant. Thus, it is time for us to close up and move on. The most egregious staff members are gone, and while this doesn't mean anything in terms of the apologist users that are still singing Yuku's praise, it does mean that a new direction is perhaps starting up there.

Thus, here's to the hope that Yuku users will finally get the respect and service they deserve. As for us, we will no longer be allowing active posting on this board, and applications for new member will also be discontinued. That said, this board will remain as a memorial of ezboard/Yuku's incompetence under the Labatt era. Hopefully they (and other companies) will learn from the mistakes chronicled here.
