Okay, this has me confused. And it seems Kristin is confused as well...

Were there TWO "Today in History" blocks being run at the same time???

What's the deal with this?

Again, it's IDIOTIC to RUN TESTS on the main boards/profiles, especially when Yuku now (on the surface) appears to not be in beta anymore; though admittedly they haven't officially said anything about being out of it. Really, Kickapps...how are you running this thing? You guys are at times actually making Labatt look good, which I thought was impossible.

There are no fantastically new improvements, and the problems have gotten smaller (to their credit, and this is mostly due to Kickapps finally (rather than Labby's cheap "improvements") providing some real financial support to improve hardware etc. rather than anything the so called "Yuku team" has really done). Thus, there has been of late very little to report about, good or bad, which is probably what Kickapps wants. They get the users going along with the flow and get to serve ads to them and charge them for gold etc., all while nothing really happens (for example, has anyone heard anything about home backups?). Oh happy day.

Alexa however shows them stagnating. Hard to say what this means, although many people like Compete and praise it. The only thing I can add here is that Compete is limited to the US market and many large Invisionfree/Zetaboards have a lot of international members, and many IF/ZB communities have their own domain linking since they had that feature since years for free. This would put them out of the statistics, making compete worthless here. A pity that forumrank.net never came to be what it envisioned. What I suspect is that Kickapps will let Yuku 'grow' this way hoping to add it to the portfolio of an eventual Kickapps sell 'as is'. I wonder which graph they'll show to buyers though....
