Brittlefoot deposited a freshly caught water vole next to the fresh-kill pile as she stifled a huge yawn. In fact, it was probably the lifeless form of the rodent that had stifled her yawn more than anything else. The succulent fat and muscle in her watering maw was irresistable. But she did manage to drop it, since another water vole was luckily in the pile of fresh meat. Brittlefoot believed it strange, but shrugged it off. Any kind of vole was good to be in ShadowClan. Vole was certainly better than toad or frog, which ShadowClan ate during its most dire times-- and which some kamakze-type cats were known to eat for pleasure. "Good StarClan, anything is better than a hot, dead, stinking toad!" Brittlefoot murmured as she moved a little away with a new vole clasped in her jaws. She wondered whether Wildstar would take them to the Gathering... RiverClan and WindClan were being more uncooperative than ever possible now.

Wildstar made her way out of her den and towards the entrance to Shadowclan. She was about to go hunting because for one it would get her out of her den and for two it would help the clan.

Brittlefoot, who realized she had practically fallen into a coma of boredom, quickly swallowed the plump vole before leaping after her leader despite her odd, slanting foot. "Mind if I tag along?" she asked, trying to sound blithe.

Wildstar kept on her foot and moving but spoke in a soft calm voice, "I don't mind at all." She seemed silent for a moment. "I'd say that a little more prey for the clan will do us all good," she added cheerfully.
