I'm not going to explain my absence, so all I will say is that real life really got in the way of everything.

However, I do realize that Estonei has been extremely quiet for a long time. I don't have all the time in the world right now, to run a site, but I'm willing to try.

Before I do jump into that though, I'd like to know what everyone else wants.

Do we try and continue, or do we close the chapter?

All I can say is that I'm sorry I haven't been as dependable as I wanted to be. *hugs*

I hope you can forgive me for that one.

I do ask that everyone is very honest, and try and decide whether you have enough time for it or not. =) If you don't want to tell me directly, that's fine. I attached a poll so that it can be anonymous, but I'm looking for everyone's honest opinion. =)

I'll be the first to say I'm not good time-wise. Between band and IB classes at school (two of which I'm barely keeping an A grade on), I don't have much free time for RPing.

BUT.

Band will be over in a couple of weeks. And I love this site. I love the members, the plots, and I love my Lurianyth! If we can get it going again, I'd love to try.

On the subject of a time jump, as was discussed in the cbox, I personally don't really want one - not longer than a few weeks, anyway. For those with weyrlings, it's weird to skip time and try to figure out how the dynamic might have changed over the months. And with the Weyr leadership plot and the random-alien-in-lake plot...it'd be disconcerting to have to skip all those things and come up with some vague solution to them.

It can be done, but I'd vote we start up pretty soon where we left off.

Thank you for the honest Answer! <3 I don't like timeskips myself, but to see the reasoning for a member not to like it, I appreciate it. =)

however, so far, we have 4 yesses. =) So far, Estonei is looking up!

I didn't vote, because there was no, "I don't know if I'll partake of a revival, but I want everyone else to be happy!" option.

I, too, have little time. A few programming projects and school are doing their best to occupy my attention, so I don't know how much I'll be around. I've honestly been losing interest in Pern and even, to some extent, roleplay in general. Either way, I won't be able to devote as much time to Estonei as I have in the past.

With that said! I'd love to see an Estonei revival, if only because I want to talk with Estonei folks again.

I agree that a time skip = bad idea. Estonei is so plot-heavy that this could be really detrimental.

I still want to RP Pern. The problem with me now is that my Pern has managed to be shaped conclusively by Estonei, so... I find it hard to check other sites now. XD

Yes, I want to give this another try. However, I admit it'll be difficult for me to keep up all the time, and a timeskip would make it even more confusing. But I think if we all agree on a slightly slower pace of RP, so we don't burn out or feel pressured, this could totally work~

I will punch myself in the face if I ever make twenty threads at the same time again.

I would welcome trying again, but I'm afraid that I never have been able to stick to RP sites for long periods of time. I get...distracted by the next shiny thing on the internet and sometimes I just don't feel like writing...anything.

That being said I would probably still lurk and make a minor character/keep the ones I have slightly active.
