The Epic Tale Of Morrigan's Untimely Death, Only Not Really Epic, More Like The Really Anticlimactic Sentence About Morrigan's Totally Expected Death
Last night I killed Morrigan with a stick. The end.
Narrative Causality Is Important
There were numerous assassination attempts on Morrigan. None of them ever succeeded, because of Tytureth's constant, totally amazing stalking abilities and everyone bickering too much about who would kill her to actually form an organized attempt.
She did die, though.
It was a stormy day, the weather heralding the morbid tone of the thread. A child was running about with a feather in hand, tickling random people. Tytureth was lurking outside the dining hall, and so, Morrigan was helpless to defend herself as the child fell upon her, feather of doom in hand. As she felt it brush against her side, her throat seized up and her heart pounded.
And then the universe exploded.
The 35 Days of Morrigan
The first time I met her, I hated this girl. Already she was part of my Weyrling class, and she stole the dragon that was supposed to go to me. From that day on, it was war. Of course, there wasn't any way that I could tell anyone. There was something wrong with her...
Besides, it was obvious to everyone: Morrigan had to die.
So yesterday I went about and scouted her routine. She is possibly the most boring girl I've ever watched. She just stares there, and looks at her dragon every now and again. Mostly, she's just a dead weight. It makes sense that most of the Weyrlings hate her. Well, I'm going to have to follow her routine for a bit, and then I'll strike.
It's been eight days since I've been plotting to kill this brat. The first time, I put a bit of poison in a drink... She managed to spill it on herself, and didn't get a damn sip of it. The second time I did it, she left it on the table and an old man took a heart attack, and croaked. It's been only failure from here.
I managed to throw a tubber at the child's head. That proves to me that she isn't invincible. Tomorrow, I will try something else!
Shard it! There were rumours that an abomination dragon was in the Weyr. Her and her blasted bronze vanished. Some say she was eaten. Others say the lightning killed her.
I saw her ghosts haunting the halls... We'll never get rid of that fiend!
