[Johara Karalis]

Johara's eyes scanned the crowds, where was the stupid boy?

What his real name was she didn't know, she never asked and had never cared to before. Generally whenever she happened to come across him in the marketplace selling all his junk she went to pester him. Usually that ended badly with that stupid bird of his, she hated the foul creatures!

Turning another corner she finally spotted his little junk table and he appeared to be talking some women into buying another worthless item. Johara bit her tongue to keep her from saying anything; after all, she was not here to agitate him today. Johara waited until the lady left before she approached his table, "Yo! Bird boy, long time no see"

She stood off to the opposite side of where his evil pet was.

[Corvie Daw]

Corvie let his fake smile drop when the woman left with her trinket. Supposedly it was a piece of bone from Tristella's body, but it was really just chicken bone. The woman was happy to have it either way.

Then Corvie noticed the girl and his lips twisted as if he'd licked a rancid lemon.

"Whadda you want, girl?" he said. He couldn't remember her name. "Get on and lemme work!"

"Calm down, no need to get your pants in a bunch" Johara's eyes fell to the bird with a frown before returning to the miniature con artist, "I'm here with a proposition for you" For once she was here to keep the peace and that was harder then it looked.

[Corvie Daw]

Corvie cocked a brow and smirked, and Snuff squawked. This girl was certainly cheeky.

"Oh, yeah? What sorta proposition?"

[Johara Karalis]

"I need to get into the castle but I need some help" She was sure at the moment there was nothing in it for him but she was getting there. "I'm sure anything from the castle would sell for a good price out here"

[Corvie Daw]

Corvie stared at her. Then he squeezed his eyes shut, opened them, and stared at her again.

"What? The castle? What for?"

[Johara Karalis]

"To speak with the king" If she had too she would talk to the queen but she really didn't want to do that.

[Corvie Daw]

Corvie let that ridiculous statement hang in the air a moment before asking, "Why?"

[Johara Karalis]

"To give my mum a better life, does it matter?" She looked at him unsure of where he was leading this conversation. "Will you help me or not?"

[Corvie Daw]

He stared at her, then laughed. "Sure. Sure I'll help ya sneak inna the castle past a hundred guards an' who knows what other magical protective shit they got everywhere. An' how do you sugges' we get in there?"

[Johara Karalis]

"Don't be daft" There were plenty of ways to sneak in, it was just a matter of finding a good way that didn't involve them getting caught, "We can sneak in one of those potato wagons or something next time they are delivering to the palace"

Johara was dead serious about this.

[Corvie Daw]

Corvie snorted back laughter and covered his mouth with a hand. After a bit he controlled his mirth and grinned toothily. "Right. Right. That always works." He leaned forward, still grinning. "But why d'you need my help for? Wouldn't it be easier t'jus' sneak into a, heh, potato wagon by yerself?"

Johara rolled her small child eyes at him, ha ha, it was so funny.

"Working alone on something this big is folly" She pointed a finger at him, "I need a partner for this and adults are no good, their too big"
