Hightown
The northernmost district in the city houses the wealthy and the noble of Maristheum. Here the buildings tend to be larger and more elaborate, with greater expanses of open land between them. Few that do not have the wealth of the district's inhabitants dare to wander through the streets. The Castle of the Crown is included within the boundaries of Hightown.

The Market District and Shops
This district, containing many shops and an open market, surrounds one of the main roads into Maristheum. The River Isak runs through its center and forms one boundary of the market. Stalls form the other boundaries. One might also find entertainment here in the form of dancers, mistrels, and fortune tellers.

The Refugee Quarter
Occupying the southwestern portion of the city, this quarter is characterized by filth, general poverty, and an almost exclusively refugee population. Many of the streets and buildings are in disrepair, beggars and the homeless lurk toward the city wall, and guards are rarely seen.

Kyha
The main port of the Island Nation, located on the Sea of Tristella, not far from Maristheum. It is a city reliant upon the sea, with a broad stretch of urban land stretching around a series of bays and spits. Famed for its impressive Marina, the city is also home to a significant number of Refugees, most of whom live in poverty around the northern tip of the city.

Elsewhere on Escova
Other locations on the island of Escova, including the plains, the road from Maristheum to Kyha, the Silverstrait Mountains, and a collection of villages. The land here is rocky and untamed, with most shorelines ending in cliffs. Roads are patchy at best and increasing criminal activity is of some concern to travelers.
