well its finally here, the ending of elfen lied. we were only a week or two off our goal for finishing so i'm pretty happy and i'm hope you guys have enjoyed the chapters so far.anyway if anyone would like to suggest some projects feel free to do so in the suggestion section on the forum and look forward to some other series getting more consistent releases (as well as new series)

Who is shouting "What is wrong with you?" on the last page? The "Kaede!" logically comes from Kouta's daughter "Nyu". Is she shouting "what is wrong with you?" too? So what does it mean? oO

from what i understand nyuu is the daughters nickname and Kaede is her actual name. anyway to answer your question its the dad/kouta yelling both things in response to her saying ahh. at least this is what i think based on the translations i'll ask the translator for a actual answer when he gets on ^^

First of all I want to say "thank you" to everyone, that gave us (the ones that don't understand Japanese ^^) the possibility of reading this great manga. I appreciate your hard work and I was really enjoying your translations.

I think that those two girls at the end are called Nyuu and Kaede. Kouta's daughter got scared because of Kaede's footsteps and said "What's wrong with you!?". Of course they are reincarnations of Lucy and Nyuu, but... in separate bodies : P It'd explain Kouta's happiness at the very end, appearance of the girls and that they said, that they are waiting for "a very important friend". Also Lucy in 106th episode said, that she will come back.

Btw. Kaede is the real name of Lucy.

Ooh, I just looked again at page 202 and it looks like a bit, that the one, that "finally met his/her friend" might not be Kouta, that read the letter, but Lucy (Kaede), that found Kouta. It makes sense and that'd explain better why Kouta's daughter said "What's wrong with you!?" to Kaede.

Of course it's only my interpretation ^^

I have been watching the EL sinice it got out and after 5 eps i started searching for the manga and since then for the last 4 years i was a big fan of EL so all i can say thanks for this great manga


Btw i have one title i would like to see it is a rather old one but a good one "Be Free!" is the name.

First of all I want to thank you all for letting me understand the letter, I bought the manga in Japan one year ago, but as I don't understand japanese it was impossible for me to understand anything, hehe

I just have a petition, could it be possible for you to translate the last page that is written by okamoto lynn? I would like to understand what is he saying at the end of the manga. Probably he's just saying goodbye to the readers but I'd like to understand it.

If I didn't understand bad, Kouta's daughter is named Nyuu, it's obvious to name her like that after all the things that have happened, and the only thing we know about the twins is that one is named Kaede, like Kouta's friend, it's really curious the thing that we don't know what's her name until the last chapter. And the last phrases, I think that are said by the twins.
