The day started out with slight fog hindering the view of outside before it cleared up with the sun's gentle warm rays. As the day grew older, the weather grew to be harmonious and the streets started to fill with townsmen. Just by glancing up and down the street you can feel the liveliness that people excluded as they went on their way chatting to friends and folks.
However, as the day went by into the afternoon there a slight uneasiness through the town as no one spot hide nor hair of the Pure Lord. Thus, the advisors of the lord were sent out to search and retrieve him. They came back empty handed and on the verge of panic if this information got out to the populace.
As the advisors were fidgeting one seemingly brave soul took initiation and walked to the town square while gathering everyone's attention. As soon as the restless crowd became quiet he addressed them with a unhurriedly and gentle tone. As he spoke, he gestured with his hands to convey what he was saying.
“I speak to you of urgent matters. Now please stay calm as I say my piece." Here he paused having a vague feeling that something was about to go downhill. Straightening up and building up confidence he continued. "I am regretful to say that, the Pure Lord has disappeared from our midst.”
Time felt as if it went still, as everyone held their breaths. Most people of opposing fractions couldn't believe this was the opportunity they have been waiting for. This was a time that allowed them to defeat the other side without any outside forces. There was no Pure Lord to hold them at bay from slicing their enemies’ throats out.
And with that thought all hell just broke loose....
The Aegles and the Krishna took flight as if a signal only those fighting could hear; they took off at one another. Elements clashed against each other, nicking and taking down various angels in the chaotic mayhem. Many were escaping due to destroyed buildings and misdirected attacks. Sounds of grief and horror sounded the area as most were unable to move for the sake of their loved ones.
As the battle continued for a couple more days, the death count grew steadily higher. Multiple corpses scattered the area, their blood soaking through the ground adding to what had been there before from once it fell from above. As the days passed by the number fighting had thinned out significantly; making the fraction force to hand out as a stand-still.
Both remaining fractions held an unspoken truce as they traveled to Eden to heal their wounded. It would do no good to sacrifice more lives then what was needed. To them it made sense in some puzzling way, but most bystanders believe that death shouldn't be taken lightly; especially on some grudge that was buried in the past.
Many years have passed since then....
