Mismo Debian lenny pero con entorno Xfce4 y con barra mac... por wear XD

El entorno xfce es mucho mas liviano y simple que los otros 2 mas grandes conocidos, GNOME (el que viene con ubuntu) y KDE (viene con kubuntu, mandriva), por lo que se usa de preferencia en pcs mas viejos, a menos de querer optimizar recursos.



Un comando util para encontrar paquetes en linea de comandos, terminal, konsole o como se llame en la distro k usen (por lo menos en debian y sus derivados, como ubuntu)

apt-cache search palabra_a_buscar

Con esto te lanza una lista de paquetes que tienen relacion con la palabra buscada que esten en los repositorios, tambien pueeds poner el nombre mismo del paquete que quieras buscar, por ej:
