The Chemist simply laughed as the two peaceful children were bickering over what to eat. The Alkali Demon knew the perfect compromise to their problem but didn’t bother to tell them, because that wasn’t his ‘trend’ to do so.

“I want to eat scrambled eggs!” one of the children argued.
“But I want cold cereal!” the other one contradicted.

The Alkali Demon, whom at the time didn’t feel like listening them argue, told them that they could eat both, one today, the other tomorrow. They agreed and went running to their mother with the elegant compromise. The Alkali Demon had almost forgotten about his evil days of being tortured by his father, Hades, the king of Hell himself. He had almost forgotten the downfall of the Oblivion Gate, and everything else in Hell. All he truly remembered, was how much he hated it there, but it didn’t matter much to him anymore, because he was now free, and he could roam free on this peaceful land the locals call, ‘Cairo, Egypt.’

Truthfully, The Chemist actually liked it at Cairo; it was still warm, but much colder than the burning pits of Hell. He would explore the city everyday, helping people, and people would help him. He was still a stranger there though, he still couldn’t hid his demonic self: He was very much taller than any of the locals, he always wore a white cape with a hood, that not even the Pharaoh himself would wear, but his eyes, his eyes showed his true demonic self. They could see the pain and torture he had made, and received in Hell. His purple-maroon eyes, seemed to be staring at the locals no matter where they went, as long as the Alkali Demon was around them.

“Halt!” commanded the city Guard near the exit of the village, “Where go you?”
“I go where I wish, and no body questions thee.” The Chemist’s voice was soothing and persuading. It was melodic, almost like an angel’s, but it was obvious, that he had an evil soul under all his attempts to get rid of that. He was a demon, and that was not going to change for some time.
“I’m sorry sir, I did not understand your intentions,” but the guard was trained better, and he knew what he was supposed to do, “But my orders are to regulate anyone that enters or leaves the village. I am afraid I can not let you pass.”

“You will let me go, if you please. And for where I go is my matter alone and is not up to your consent whether or not I tell you,” The Chemist seamed a lot more demanding than before, as the guard soon noticed.
“I’m sorry sir, but my orders…”
“Your orders mean nothing to me, you will let me go or die.”
“I will stand my ground.”

The Alkali Demon was enraged at the guard’s stupidity, and said, “This one is going to be fun,” to himself. “Cs + H2O!” The two chemicals burst out of no-where, and because of the reaction between the Water and Cesium, the guard and a nearby pot simply exploded.

“As I said,” The Chemist repeated smoothly, “this one is going to be fun.”
