Queens and Rulers
This is a note to anyone who wants to play a Territory, Province, or District Queen or Warlord Prince. This is, of course, assuming that you fit the required Jewel Ranking.
You may only have 3 ruling entities at one time. This means that if you have two characters that are Province Queens and one that is the Warlord Prince of a District; you can not have another that is a Territory Queen.
This applies to all types of ruling bodies: Territory, Province, and District.
If you have any questions regarding this, please post them in the Question & Answer section and an Admin will get back to you ASAP.
Addendum
Queens and Warlord Princes who wish to rule a territory will be required to undergo a month screening process. This for us to determine whether you have the skill to rule over your desired Territory. District, Province and Non-ruling Queens need not undergo the screening process.
At the end of the month screening, the Admins will deliberate and reach a verdict deciding on whether the person will become the permanent ruler of that Territory or will be denied. If, at the end of your screening, you are denied Queenship you will be PM'd with options.
Your Queenship will be judged not only by post quantity, but post quality. I find that the latter is much more important than the former. I'd rather have a Queen with five well-written, well thought out posts than one with fifty one-liner posts. You will also be judged on your interaction with people in your Territory.
Territory rulers MUST be a full blooded character of that particular Territory. So for example, if you want to rule over Pruul you cannot be a half breed, nor can you be full blooded Hayllian.
For District and Province Queens, there is no screening period required, you will just need to be accepted by the current ruling Territory Queen. If there is no Territory Queen at the time, then one of the Admins will assign you a District or Province until a Territory Queen becomes available.
Also, District and Province Queens at this time are only to be a part of the Territory Ruler's Court. Until we get enough members, we will not allow District and Province Queen's to have their own Court. This may change in the future.
New rule added 3/25/06:
If you have failed your screening process once, you will NOT be eligible to create another Territory Ruler for six months and then you must petition the Admins for the position and they will take a vote on it. District and Province Queens are still available to you, but not Territory. It takes a lot of effort to be a Territory Ruler and if you can't pass it once then chances are you are going to need six months to figure out what you did wrong and correct it. This doesn’t apply to Rulers who step down because of Real Life issues.
I want to remind everyone that when you are a ruler of a Territory it is important for you to try to post as much as you can because the Ruler keeps the flow of RP going in a Territory. I understand that there are times when you are playing other characters or whatever else might come up, but there is no reason to hold up a thread for weeks at a time.
Reminder
If you are a ruler of a Territory and you do not post for more than two weeks, you can and will be overthrown to allow someone into the spot of Territory Ruler that wants to be there. We do not have to give you notice of this because you have read the rules, or was supposed to have read the rules before you accepted a position as Ruling Queen or Warlord Prince.
Remember there is no real reason to hold up a rp or a territory.
Something else....
If you are holding up a Thread and making people wait, you will be bypassed and given a note that you are kicked out of that thread and no longer allowed to post unless you have a prior agreement with the others in the thread that states you won't be posting for a while and they agree to it. THEY HAVE TO AGREE!!!
Please remember that it takes a lot of effort to run a Territory and please don’t take the position if you’re not willing to give that. Thanks.
