River stared at Landon a moment as first he acted like the stickers thing was a bad idea. River had learned from some book that nail polish remover got rid of that sticky residue just fine, but she'd never tested it and she wasn't going to correct a guy who, for some weird reason, seemed to have a pretty good grasp of the whole sticker thing.

His reaction to the signw tih glitter completely caught her by surprise though. She'd meant the comment to throw him off. Most guys just didn't like glitter. This guy, however... seemed to positively love glitter... and then he thought of a neon glowy sign.

River had met her match when it came to that sort of think.

"Or you could put all of your books in a box and put the locater part of one of those remote control locator thingies in the box with your books. Then, attach the locator part to a piercing somewhere on your body so you neer lose it. Then, you'll always have the ability to locate the box or bag in which all those books are in."

After that long explanation of her crazy idea, River was left to wonder if that remote control locator thingy even existed or if it was something she read about in one of her more futurisitc books. She hoped it did exist because that would make things easier, but she wasn't so sure.

Landon didn't even consider the fact that most boys probably wouldn't react with such enthusiasm to glitter. Maybe it was his feminine nature or maybe it was the raver portion of his personality, but he loved colorful pretty things, and glitter was most definitely included. He didn't really care if people thought it was a little weird of him to think so.

A 'remote control locator thingy' was an interesting idea, even though he had never seen anything like that. And with the 'locator thingy' attached to his body, there was no way he could even lose it. That is, so long as it was waterproof and he could take it in the shower. But yes, it was definitely a plausible idea.

"It could work, it could work. But where do I buy one of those, exactly?" He asked, very curious.

Okay, then River guessed the whole remote control locator thingy didn't really exist. Dang, she wished it did. Then maybe she could find her earrings. Though, she thought she'd heard of her mom talking about an old woman who put it on the keys to her house so she could find it. Maybe it'd been a dream. River couldn't quite tell sometimes.

She smiled at Landon, wrinkling her nose a little. "What if I were to tell you I wasn't sure they existed?"

The fact that he liked the idea would just have to be good enough.
