I had one show where like 1 hyundai showed up the next one word got onto a forum and there were like 9 of them and most of the shows I had had 1 maybe 2 subarus and I personally hate when someone wins just because they are the only one of a class that shows etc but we got more trophies after the first show last year and if enough of a certain manufacturer shows up then we can add more trophies for the next show

Bill make it easier on yourself. Drop the catigories and make it top 30, 15 wild and 15 mild and then have the specialty catigories on top. That way it doesn't matter what make shows up or not. It will be everyone against everyone.

We are also going to be supplying some awards for a SPL competition at our show as well so if your systems loud don't have to be shy

Just to give the car show guys/ladies a better shot at a trophy we added another Amateur class for this season. One class is for up to 1000 watts and the other for up to 2000 watts, the classes are for Bass music only and are really geared towards the car show type systems. We know who the veteran SPL guys are and they aren't allowed in these classes, just to keep it fair to everyone else. Team New Look took home a few 1st and 2nd place trophies last season and we'd like to give others a shot at it too. if anyone has a suggestion or comment about the Amateur classes check out our website and shoot us an email.

how about somethinhg for sound q also

SQ is something we're looking into for next year, but we're not sure yet. An SQ meter get's expensive and with only 4 or 5 people in New England that are seriously into Sound Quality it's just not worth it financially. A used RTA could be picked up for under a grand, if we're lucky. That kind of money just doesn't make sense if there aren't enough people into it.
