Phazon is a mysterious radioactive mineral undiscovered for years until recently. Recent Net Crime incidents have shown the power of the Phazon and Now Net Criminals are now battling each other for control of the Phazon. Navis exposed to Phazon can mutate into Phazon Navis and Viruses can suffer the same fate two.

Phazon Viruses:

Phazon Viruses are viruses infected by radiation of Phazon. They radiate Phazon and can be a major hazard in battle. Now Villains are now fighting over control of Phazon

Things to beware when facing Phazon Viruses

1. If you delete a normal virus before deleting a Phazon Virus and don’t delete it fast enough, The Phazon Virus will resurrected the Normal Virus as another Phazon Virus
2. Phazon Viruses are a stronger than normal viruses and strengthen the power of other viruses.

Phazon Ghosts

Sometimes when a Phazon Navi is deleted, the soul remains and seeks vengeance. Unlike Normal Navi Ghost, Phazon Ghost interferes in Virus battles.

Things to beware when facing Navi Ghosts:

1. Phazon ghosts flashes in and out and attacks.
2. Phazon ghosts can’t be deleted but hitting one with an attack will cause it to temporarily back off.

Phazon Mode

If you expose your navi Phazon, you can trigger a powerful transformation. Your navi’s abilities will become more enhanced and you will be able get new powers.

Abilities gained with Phazon mode

1. Phazon Buster: Unleash a chain of Phazon that will sap Enemy HP with the buster attack.
2. Phazon Body: Gain one of three effects randomly: invulnerable for random periods of time, increased Speed or Spread Phazon on panels with ground based chip attacks (See Phazon Terrain).
3. Phazon Attack: Charging up normal chips will mimic an attack of an enemy navi or virus.
4. Phazon Chip: Phazon mode will make chips data unstable, the Chips attack power can be added and subtracted a value randomly

The downside to Phazon mode is that it takes an upkeep of 100 hp a turn to keep your navi in Phazon mode. However like Navi Armors, Phazon mode can removed at anytime.

Phazon Terrain

Panels that become infected with Phazon can cause glitches to navis when stepped on. Navis in Phazon mode are immune to this. Viruses that step on them will become Phazon Viruses and the more Phazon panels the more likely a Phazon ghost will appear.
