What's the top 3 stupid things David Mann does?
My picks are:

1) Passing the truck on the blind curve when the truck driver waves him on.

2) Knocking the sandwich. (very bad idea)

3) Going into the phonebooth and turning his back on the truck.

Hmm....gosh, there's so much to choose from...

1. Passing the truck more than one damn time...did he NOT get the hint from the truck blowing it's horn???

2. Leaving Chuck's Cafe to run after the truck

3. Coming to a near complete stop by the pest control guy, putting his life in danger and having the truck almost kill the innocent dude.

My top 2..

1. Leaving the house that morning

2. Not leaving his wife.

was thinking he should of kicked that thing into touch. You just know she was all over Henderson the night before, bet he got to see more than an inch of petty coat!!
How I see it.......Mann was in for a sh*t day anyway, had the journey been uneventful, that evening he had arranged for two women to be under the same roof, I mean........just how large is his house!!!!!!!!

It isn't a mistake running after the truck when he leaves Chuck's Café though - that's the best thing he does all film! What he would have done had he caught the truck though is another matter

1) Being born
2) Having a puny, gimpy car
3) Not taking the Interstate

Ok,
1. came out of ma's basement

2. passed the big damn truck

the truck driver...

1. let mann pass him

2. let mann shake him

3. didn't kill him

1) At the railroad crossing when he just sits there in his car and screams his head off as the truck was nudging him towards the passing train instead of a) turning the wheel hard to the left and steering out of harms way or b) just getting out of the car at that point and going up to the cab of the truck to confront the driver while he didn't have much of a chance to get away.

2) The way he acts in the school bus scene. a) He should never have tried to push a loaded bus with his gimpy car. b) He should have been a lot more reasonable with the bus driver to get him to help instead of acting like a retard and driving off only to be chased by the truck again later.

3) At Snakerama, after the truck nearly runs him down in the phonebooth he should have ran straight into the building for refuge instead of getting back into his car and driving off again with the truck in pursuit. The lady that ran the place was a direct witness to the truck driver's murderous tendencies and would be an ally to him even if she was a bit kooky.

Oh...what else is there?

Chasing the truck down the street at Chucks cafe then having the elderly people find him standing in the middle of the street.

Big number one for me: Not listening to the guy at the gas station about the radiator hose. He could have at least looked instead of not believing the guy!

There are others but that one sticks out a mile.
