Looks good, Chris. You should've used your truck's fender for a photo spot.

the model's coming along nicely. you've given me the idea to pick one up and build it to look like my truck. i'll have to see if there is one available as a 379 w/ 60" walk in sleeper. gotta be one somewhere.

These guys make alot of stuff. This is where I got the hood for mine.

syko, I've seen a bunch of 379's on ebay, pre built or die cast whatever they're called. You should take a look if you have time.

It's fun and a bit challenging I have the 359, it was a good "rainy day" project, I need to go down to ole hobby shop and get some new projects, to bad i'm broke and that stuff aint cheap dry.gif , but if I had about 100, 120$ I would have enough to build two, mabe three, very high detail models with very custom touchs.

hey snowman, how ya doing? i'll have to look into that. i dont have an e-bay account though. we have a huge hobby shop here in san jose, it's about 200,000 square feet, i'll have to head down there and see what they have. last time i was there they had just a gigantic model section. i would kind of like to build it like chris is doing rather than get a finished piece. be kinda cool to build a radio controlled pete and trailer. should i dream that maybe they'd have a Duel truck? or wet dream, a r/c duel truck. lol

Doing good syko, how bout you? I did a quick search on ebay and saw a couple that might interest you..

1:32 scale 379 with trailer

1:25 scale 359

Even though you don't have an ebay account, it might give you some ideas. If they're on ebay they should be in stores unless they're discontinued of course.

I thought so, I guess you didn't want to buy the real expensive one I showed you.

I guess being on the road as much as you are could be a problem mail ordering.. I didn't even think of that, because everything I get shipped to me just sits here I don't remember the last time I had to go pick something up/sign for it.

yeah it gets to be a hassle.i've actually had packages stolen off the porch. i'd call the mail order people, they say they shipped it. the mail or ups man said he left it at the door. put 2+2 together and you come up with someone helped themselves to it.so if it's really something i want i ship to work or go get it at a store myself.
