obviously a plan needs to come together for the site's replays. I'm not a web coder guy and doing a custom uploader like sanc has is beyond me and my time constraints due to work. So we need a more realistic plan.


I've been looking at online free file hosting places and have come across mediafire which allows you to set up an account that will host files indefinitely if you maintain activity. Assuming we each grab a free mediafire account we could post replays in a set format with the mediafire DL link for the rep.


eg.


Map: XXX
Players: XXX vs YYY
Version: SS 1.2
Comments: Great game, intense t3 action etc
DL link: mediafire-file123412341243.link



Thoughts? Alternate solutions?

There's also MegaUpload.

Furthermore, if you create a free acc. on MU, the waiting time is halved, and it doesn't require for you to type in anything random.

When it comes to free file hosting the key things for replays imho are:


- Duration of hosting
- Minimal wait periods for the dl
- Ease of use and no pop-up rubbish

Doesn't invisionfree allow post attachments?

16mg limit for site.......won't last long

head post
1) rep's gamename (example: beerbush) or races again
2) Players: (example: Santi vs Beard);

[spoiler][/spoiler] in winners row would be cool

also u can upload mini pics for maps and races from dows

player will use em in post than

I've thought about this more and think I have a better solution if we can find someone who has some html coding skills. We will also need a small amount of hosted space for the replays.

Please let me know if you can help with either.
