- Be respectful towards other players. We're all here to have fun and the last thing anyone wants is to log on and be harassed. The staff at Deadly Expectations will not tolerate harassment of any form on the forums. Any issues your characters may have with each other must remain strictly IC. If you have any issues regarding harassment, please don't hesitate to contact the Admins.
- Be respectful towards the admins. We put in a lot of effort into the board and we don't take kindly to being insulted for trying to help you.
- No plagiarizing character applications or character posts. Plagiarizing is illegal and carries severe penalties in real life. If we discover your posts or applications belong to another writer, you will be banned.
- We allow mature content on Deadly Expectations. However, we do request that if your thread has mature content that you flag it.
- Advertising is only permitted in the Advertising boards. Please do not spam the c-box.
- Be respectful in the c-box.
- Please register only with your character's first and last name with proper capitalization. Eg; Eric Northman, John Smith, Jane Grey, etc.
- Register one account for each character.
- Fill out applications in full or they will not be accepted. If you have not finished your app, please post it in the WIP forum. Please let an admin know when you're finished so they can move your app to the correct forum. In the application, where is says 'What did you hear?' you say 'That you remind me of the babe'.
- Try to post twice a week.
- No one liner posts. I know the muse can sometimes be a pain, but please give the person you're threading with something to work with.
- If you want your character to be changed into either a were or vampire, please contact an admin first.
- If you break any of these rules, you will be warned. If you receive three warnings you will be banned. Instant banning will occur if the situation calls for it.
