A TWILIGHT BASED RP GROUP
Please note, we are a Post Eclipse RPG and not a post Breaking Dawn RPG.
An underground group by the name of the Mockingbird has caused the Vampires and Werewolves to meet for a meeting of the species in Volterra. Confusion and Panic are spreading in this anti-peace UN of sorts, exactly what the Mockingbird wants. What is their plan and how are they going to accomplish it? Only time will tell. Let's just hope that no one gets exposed in the process.
Please refer to the "from the beginning" section to get started.
We are currently accepting CANONS as well as ORIGINALS. ORIGINAL CANONS [which are characters made by staff not in the book] are also needed.

La Piazza del Volterra
Volterra's main square is Piazza dei Priori, and it is ringed by impressive medieval mansions. It is a neat and tidy looking square, with the obligatory cafés available to relax at and enjoy some people watching with your coffee.

Mercato Volterra
Ah, welcome to the Mercato Volterra,a hustling and bustling place of beauty. From it's small stalls to the stores that are open up and down the streets, the Mercato Volterra is home to everything the human mind can possibly imagine. The wonder that is inlaid within this street is only betrayed by the roads at night when the stalls close up and loneliness creeps over the cobblestones.

Duomo [Cathedral]
Volterra's cathedral was built in the 12th & 13th centuries, and has a Romanesque façade, with a large rose window above the door. Highlights include the 15 century tabernacle, which rises about the high altar, and the beautiful gold gilded ceiling.

Guarnacci Library
The library is one of the most important historical libraries in Tuscany. Established in 1786 on the death of the erudite Volterran Monsignor Mario Guarnacci who left his collection of about 7.000 volumes to “the citizens of Volterra”. Throughout the centuries, purchases and donations have increased the number to 50.000 volumes.

The Art gallery and Civic Museum
The Palazzo Minucci-Solaini situated in the centre of Volterra is attributed to Antonio Sangallo the Elder in collaboration with Baccio D’Agnelo. Built at the end of the 15th century, the palace is now the Art Gallery and Civic Museum housing an important collection of paintings.

Hotels
While the vampires are staying in the Volturi's home, some thought it best that werewolves do not. The local hotels have been booked for convenience. This includes the Hotel Etruria, the Nazionale and the Camere Renzi.

Fortezza Medicea
The Fortezza Medicea sits on the hill at the south eastern corner of town. The fortress is made up of two forts - the oldest part dates back to the 14th century, while the 'new' fort was constructed in the 15th century to improve the city's defenses, a wall was built to connect the two.These days, this imposing looking Fortress is used as a prison. Hunting Hall
This room has a very medieval feel and is located . It is large enough to fit a large number of people and drains can be found here and there in the floor. This is to make cleanup after meal times quick and easy. This room had a cameo in New Moon [where else would it have a cameo..] and is the location where we first "see" the Volturi.

The Lobby
The lobby is a simple room compared to the grandeur of the rest of the manor. A human secretary sits behind a desk and directs people to where they need to go. Don't let warm colors fool you, if you're a human going in, chances are you're not coming out.

The Volturi and Guard's Rooms
These rooms are on the North side of the Volturi's residence. It is strictly off limits unless otherwise stated to anyone other then the Volturi members and the Volturi guard.

Guest Rooms
Well now, you didn't expect everyone to sleep on the floor did you? Well, that is, is vampires could sleep. The vampires are offered quarters in the southern part of the Volturi's elegant home, places where they can freshen up and relax between summonings. This area of the house consists of 30 or so guest rooms where the covens and nomads have been divided up.

The Sewer entrance
Near the clock tower one will find a sewer grate like any other. If you were to lift this grate however, you'd find a tunnel. This is but one of the entrances to Volterra's elaborate underground tunnel system. Take the right path and you'll end up at the home of the Volturi.
