Welcome! This is a brand new, fresh out of the oven intermediate site. It's kind of an alternate universe, in the sense that the events of Chain of Memories and KH II HAVE happened, but the characters have gone back in time, so these things haven't happened yet. So will they? It's up to you to decide!
For more information, please read the plot. Take a look around and see if you like the site. Be sure to read the important topics (links conviently on the left of this) to make sure this is the site for you. Just remember this is supposed to be fun; a little bit of effort is really all that we ask for. So just poke around and if you have something to say (even as a guest) feel free to do so. General•» original characters must be unique and creative
•» canons must be in character, well thought through, and throw in a bit of creativity to bring them alive
•» a clean, nice looking application leaves a good first impression
•» put some personality in the application to make it interesting
•» avoid using smileys, too bright/dark colors, and weird fonts
•» also avoid using images to decorate, though some simple borders and icons will be fine
•» character images must be linked
•» effort is appreciated and will leave a good impression Writing Tips•» try to start each sentence with something other than your character's name, "him, her, he," or "she"
•» try to avoid using the verbs "is, was, were, has, have" and other non-action verbs repeatedly
•» proper grammar is a must. capitalize correctly, use third person and past tense, etc
•» imagery is preferred, too. i want to get a clear picture. try using metaphors, similes, personification, and other ways to describe your character, these will make your application more interesting
•» interesting diction, please. avoid using the same words, spruce it up a bit Appearance•» a picture is not required, but preferred. it will help us judge how you describe your character's appearance
•» make it smooth. start from one point [ie. body] and work your way to another [ie. hair]. don't jumble it around. try to give at least a paragraph on the body, a paragraph on the face, half a paragraph on the hair, and a paragraph on the clothes.
•» describe all the little details, from the way your character's eyes curve to his/her height (maybe not the curve of the eyes, but you get my point) Personality and Background•» personalities are very important, put a lot of detail; leaving holes may get annoying (ie. someone puts a vague personality and comes up with extreme traits randomly in the roleplay that weren't mentioned in profile)
•» try to start with your character's strongest trait and then go through all the other traits; if it's scattered it'll be difficult to read and understand
•» i want a LOT of detail; holes in your character make him/her look incomplete and sloppy
•» the history does not need to be very long, but it must have some length to it
•» please avoid writing the history like a book - my attention span won't allow me to read a full two-page history. tell the history like you character is - they can't always record exact actions and speech. but if you have the talent to write a well-written, clear, lengthy history then i won't ask you to hold back
•» give it a nice flow; start from birth and work your way to now; again, scattered makes your history hard to follow
•» go through the childhood, teenage years, early adulthood [if possible]. tell me how your character was as a child and how they developed. don't just put events, put some personality into the history, too. this will make your history mre reading and again, gaps can cause problems later on. HOWEVER if your profile is just barely passable then you will be sent to (insert board name here). There you will make a roleplay topic *just one* so we can test your roleplaying skills. All canons - KH and Original - must do this, too. A staff member will reply to your topic and roleplay with you.Reasons for Application Rejection:- incomplete for certain amount of time
- could not meet standards / did not make attempt to fix application
- disregarded rules and staff authority
- openly defiant, rude, condescending, critical, and/or insulting to any member
- posted in an IC board (somehow) before approval
- plagiarizing Reasons for an Original Character Pending:- could not meet standards; but clearly showed effort
- respectful to staff and fixed up profile best they could
