Welcome! This is a brand new, fresh out of the oven intermediate site. It's kind of an alternate universe, in the sense that the events of Chain of Memories and KH II HAVE happened, but the characters have gone back in time, so these things haven't happened yet. So will they? It's up to you to decide!
For more information, please read the plot. Take a look around and see if you like the site. Be sure to read the important topics (links conviently on the left of this) to make sure this is the site for you. Just remember this is supposed to be fun; a little bit of effort is really all that we ask for. So just poke around and if you have something to say (even as a guest) feel free to do so. I. Canon Characters•» Only characters from Kingdom Hearts, Disney, and Final Fantasy (along with Original Characters) are allowed on this site. You cannot bring in Sonic the Hedgehog, you may not use Sakura from Naruto. I don't care what reason you have or how well you can fit them in. This is a Kingdom Hearts roleplay.
•» We watch canon characters very closely. I want to be able to picture and hear your canon perfectly when you make up a post for them. No matter how impressive or how well-typed your application and posts are I will deny you if you can't play the canon you applied for.
•» Please note, Disney and Final Fantasy characters not found in Kingdom Hearts are considered Original characters [especially in terms of character limits] and shall be dubbed Original Canons.
•» In the game, it strongly implies that Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, Cid, and Cloud are from Hollow Bastion. No, they actually come out and say they are from Hollow Bastion in KHI, just before Sora locks the keyhole. Oh yeah, that's right! There is no hint of any Final Fantasy world, so please make sure that Final Fantasy characters are from Kingdom Hearts worlds. Don't use the exact Final Fantasy history of the character. If you want to do that, join a Final Fantasy roleplay. This is Kingdom Hearts: KHify them.
•» The rule stated above applies to Disney characters. Disney characters seem easier, since there are less complications.
•» When making a canon character please brush over other canons' histories. Why? Because if Cloud says Zack was killed by Heartless, then you better not join as Zack and say he was killed by Sephiroth.
•» Try to find a picture for your canon character and post the link (no IMG tags) in the application. Also, do NOT use Wikipedia histories or take any bit of writing from any other site. YOU must write the history. If I catch you plagiarizing then I will ban you. No exceptions.
•» Try not to hog important canons. If you play Riku, don't take Xemnas right away. Sure if you want to play Xemnas and after a while no one takes Xemnas then go ahead. But just don't take two important canons right away.
•» Finally, when posting your application, you must type up YOUR OWN HISTORY. I can't believe I have to put this as a rule (it's against the law, people), but do NOT plagiarize! We will know and your application will be denied instantly and your account deleted. No breaks. II. Original Characters•» All original characters [aside from Disney and FF canons that don't appear in KH] must be original. They must come from your mind. Do not make a character based off any other canon.
•» We look for something called creativity. Expand your mind, use your imagination! You can make just about any character from any race. So long as they are tied in with Kingdom Hearts. Please be sure to get your character involved. Just having a random character wander around isn't fun.
•» You should have an image for your original character and it must be anime or manga. I don't want celebrities or a picture from myspace. A form of art, anime, and/or manga is allowed. You may find a character to portray your character (although you may not use the canon). More icons to use, y'know?
•» Your original character may not be of the Organization or a follower of the Organization. They may not know Sora, Riku, Kairi, or any other canon. However, if someone claims a canon you want your character to know you may ask them and work it out with them (then check with me). If no one has the canon you want your character to know the you must wait for someone to claim that canon.
•» In order to have a Keyblade your character must have at least 50 posts. Then you may ask if your character can have a Keyblade. I don't want a bunch of random characters to have a Keyblade; Keyblade Wielders are rare and special. The staff will look over your character and decide if he/she is worthy enough for a keyblade. If you're denied don't pitch a fit, we'll tell you why.
•» I do not want all powerful god-like characters. Make sure they have some weaknesses. They cannot go up to the Organization and defeat them, they cannot smack Sora around. I will allow a few powerful characters, though only for plot purposes probably, but if I see too many I'll start cracking the whip.
•» Creativity is wonderful, it's encouraged! But keep a bit of realism in it. I want to believe your character. Let's face it, your character cannot be perfect. There's a slim chance your character will face every tragedy the world knows. I highly doubt your character has been to every world or knows every important person. They know almost every martial arts, know how to use almost any kind of weapon, and know almost every form of magic? Doubtful. Do you see where I'm getting at? It's all common sense really.
(To see if your character is a mary sue/gary stu then i suggest you take this lovely little test. III. Abilities, Magic, and Summons•» This is a forum roleplay, not a video game or an online roleplay. Please do not use Magic Points, Health Points, etc. Not everyone wants to keep track of that, so just leave it out. Abilities like "Dodge Roll" and "High Jump" don't count, anyone can do that. Pick abilities that are not something any normal person can do.
•» When choosing character abilities choose abilities that fit your character, not just something that's cool. They must be connected somehow, and connected to your character. Random abilities won't cut it. Try to explain why your character has these abilities.
•» Abilities cannot be godmoddish or powerplayish! Examples of godmoddish/powerplayish abilities:
- cause instant deaths / steal hearts
- control/manipulate a character's mind/memories/abilities/body/emotions
- destroy any large area
- have auto-hit (meaning it can't be dodged)
Now I know there are probably more, but hopefully you get the general idea. If you do want to have one of these abilities for plot reasons then please contact a staff member before just throwing them in.
•» Magic is different from abilities. Abilities area part of you character, magic can be taught, though only to a handful of people. Magic is used with a word and a weapon (ie. Sora uses his Keyblade and says "Fire" and is able to shoot out balls of fire). Preferably stick to the magic listed in Kingdom Hearts, though other magic is allowed. You must be able to explain the magic, though.
•» Now you can't use summons that Sora had, but you can make up your own summons. Be sure to tie them in with your character, don't just have a random fairy flying around. They need to be connected to your character.
