Newly Arrived (Open!!!), Kia's first few hours in Traverse Town

Traverse Town. A place where those who'd lost their worlds would arrive. It always appeared to be night time. Lamps glowed brightly, lighting up the streets. There were some shops here and there, and houses too. Puddles dotted the street from the recent rain, reflecting the sky filled with stars.

A figure walked through the streets, confused. A new arrival to the town. Another world lost. She wandered, not exactly sure what to do. Blue-green eyes took in every detail that they could, watching from under the hood of a jet black cloak. Her hair hung over part of the right side of her face, starting out blue, and fading into purple. The type of clothing that she wore was unknown, as it was all covered by the large cloak. The cloak had two buckles over one shoulder, keeping the cloak closed.

As she walked, she became more and more confused and worried, not even knowing that she'd wandered out of the safety of the First District. Not knowing, that is, until the Heartless began to appear.

Her eyes widened at the sight of the Heartless, recognizing them from her home world. "They're here too?" She whispered, then began to back away. After a few steps, she turned to run, but discovered with a thud that someone was there.

[Crunch]

The thud, of course was the sound of her tripping over a rather short passerby. The brush would likely leave a bump on his head, he thought, attempting to rub the sore contact point with one of his pincers. He shot a glance up at the klutz who'd tripped over him. It was some bozo in a cloak. He furrowed his red exoskeleton brow angrily. "Watch where yer goin', ya idgit!" He spat angrily.

He instinctively dusted off his uniform, and turned to walk away. Apparently he was completely oblivious to the Heartless problem down the street. After all, the only reason he'd left the hotel in the first place was to find a hotdog stand....

"Ah! I'm sorry!" Kia began to spaz out as she quickly appologised. "I was trying to get away from those things and I didn't see you." She pointed to the Heartless as she spoke. Another few, more carefully watched, step were taken away from the Heartless. "I really think we should get away from here, before-" The Heartless perked their heads up, and spotted the pair. Quickly, they began to move towards the two. "They're coming!"

[Crunch]

Crunch turned his head in the direction of the Heartless, the antennae upon his head curling in annoyance as he did. They never stopped, did they? How dare they get in the way of him getting a bite to eat. Lousy organ-snatching roach people, the thought to himself... He assumed that they were some kind of bugs, of course. They certainly looked it. "Friggin' pests!" He growled at the bunch of Heartless now intent on assimilating him into their pack. "You're blockin' my way to the hot dog stand!"

He loosened his shoulders a bit. "Step aside, chumley." He said, nudging Kia out of the way.

"Blanket of the Ocean's Fury.. Aqua!"

A minature wave of white water erupted from the street in front of him and swept through the crowd of heartless. The ones in front were reduced to plumes of black smoke instantly, while the others were tossed about by the wave, like wayward bowling pins. Little black, bug-eyed, bowling pins. Yes. That analogy totally worked, Crunch thought.

He looked around at the remaining heartless, coming to the conclusion that the problem was (for the better part) rectified. "There." He sighed. "... Now, where did that frankfurter-peddling yahoo park himself today?" The lobster muttered to himself.

Kia took several more steps to the side after being nudged by Crunch, and watched as he used a strange power to call up...was that water? "H-how...how can you call up so much water like that, and just...waste it?" Since water was a very precious recource where Kia came from, using it for anything other than the necessities was wasteful. "And...what's a frankfurter?"
