Welcome! This is a brand new, fresh out of the oven intermediate site. It's kind of an alternate universe, in the sense that the events of Chain of Memories and KH II HAVE happened, but the characters have gone back in time, so these things haven't happened yet. So will they? It's up to you to decide!
For more information, please read the plot. Take a look around and see if you like the site. Be sure to read the important topics (links conviently on the left of this) to make sure this is the site for you. Just remember this is supposed to be fun; a little bit of effort is really all that we ask for. So just poke around and if you have something to say (even as a guest) feel free to do so. Guys, if you have the muse, don't hesitate to post! Thanks, and welcome again! By the way, WE NEED A KAIRI AND A SORA. PM RIKU IF YOU WANT TO APPLY Oh, and be sure to tell your friends about us!

She knew she really shouldn't be here. She really shouldn't have slipped away from Axel and took off running for that matter. Namine was well aware of the things that she should not have done, and oddly enough she couldn't have cared less. She couldn't recall just how long it had been since she had gone with Xemnas that day, since he had promised to help her find what she was looking for. One thing she did know was that he was not doing anything at all in regards to helping her find out who she was and where she came from. Yes, there was the whole deal about nothing coming for free but frankly she was getting just a little bit tired of waiting around day after day in hopes that he would finally decide to either just tell her what she needed to know, or give her something to do to prove that she was willing to behave like a good little girl in exchange for the information she sought. But the longer she was forced to wait, the more Namine began to wonder if Xemnas even knew anything about it at all. The thought that he was just leading her on to see how long he could get away with it was an unpleasant one, but not one that she was able to rule out at the current time. That alone was quite discouraging and honestly she didn't know what she was going to do if she had to wait much longer.
Xemnas and the rest of the Organization might not have realized how badly she wanted to learn where she had come from, but that was fine. She couldn't expect any of the others to understand because all of them seemed to have a purpose for being. But what did she have? Yes, she had a room within the Organization and everyone was fairly nice to her, or at least civil. But what was that, really? What was her purpose? Was she brought into this world so that she could just exist idly in the pretty room they had given her? As far as Namine was concerned, there had to have been a very good reason for her existence, and she was slowly beginning to reach the conclusion that just loitering in the confines of her gilded cage was not going to lead her down the path to the answers she so desperately needed. Namine sighed and leaned back against the stone wall. Honestly she wasn't quite sure what had drawn her to this place. She had been walking with Axel just like any other day and then she had suddenly gotten the urge to run. It hadn't been particularly difficult either, slipping away from him. All she had had to do was wait until he began to talk about fire and then it was just a matter of finding the right moment to run for it.
Of course, she wasn't particularly fast and there was little doubt that he could easily catch her and overtake her if the situation called for it. Axel had yet to come charging after her, so it was probably safe to assume that he had either not noticed she had escaped, or that he was out looking for her right at that very moment. The sun was just beginning to set and there was a pleasant breeze billowing around the top of the Clock Tower situated atop the train station. The breeze ruffled her hair and the Nobody smiled as she took in the sight in front of her. The sky was bright with so many shades of red and orange and for a moment she wished she had brought her sketchbook. It would have been wonderful to sit up here and draw the beautiful sunset. Well, there was always another day, she rationalized. It wasn't exactly hard to find her way to the tower. It had never occurred to her that she should probably be afraid of heights and while she didn't exactly fancy what would ultimately happen if she should accidentally lose her balance and tumble over the edge, she wasn't the type to tremble and sob when presented with such a view. All in all it was a nice evening and she was quite fortunate to be able to witness it. There was something about being up here that was just so peaceful and to be honest she felt more at home sitting atop this tower than she did back in her little room.

Casual Organization uniform adorning his body, the blond carefully listened to a random conversation. Apparently a pair of his fellow members were conversing over some matter or another. Leaning against the wall, he peered past the corner. Listening in on the various conversations was too good to pass up. A curious appearance crossed his features. There was no one there. Blinking, he stepped out into the next hall. But the voices started up again, forcing his hair to stand on end. More so than usual, anyway. With anyone outside of the Organization, Roxas probably would not have been so intimidated as to flinch. However, his comrades could be quite scary when spied upon or joked with; all of them had their own ways of dealing with enemies. Hell, even Axel kind of freaked him out at times. After all, if Roxas ever got on the redhead's bad side, even he got the blunt of the blow. And let us just say that being on the wrong side of Axel's jokes was not fun. Shaking the thoughts of being on his friend's bad side, he told himself that he had done nothing wrong. Sighing, he edged his way down the hall, back almost glued to the wall.
Forcing himself to glance around the corner again, he noticed two hooded figures. The sight was not unusual for him. After all, he was around it all day. The hoods actually were quite handy, though, when you did not want to be recognized. Well, for anyone else in the Organization. Being the shortest member did turn out to be unfavorable at times; if anyone saw him, they would easily put one and two together. Still, as there was a wall between them, he decided to watch for a moment. But he did pull the hood over his head, just in case the two decided to glance over. The sounds only came off as whispers to him. Say something that I can actually hear! He groaned under his breath. Pushing his head a tad farther from the safe confines of the shadows, he listened intently. Finally the words began to trickle in, becoming more and more distinguishable. Grinning rather mischievously, Roxas waited. One of the members was mentioning something about Axel, while the other about Namine. Now he was drawn to the story. The next thing he heard was the two's angered voices about...Axel losing her...or something. Pulling back behind the wall, he covered his mouth, a smile appearing suddenly. But even with his efforts, he could not resist to burst out laughing. He really needed to hear the end of this one. Then again, that hope was short lived as he heard steps running towards him.
Pushing back against the wall, Roxas ran. Crap! He yelled mentally, the hood falling from his head at the speed. Once around the next corner, he quickly created a dark portal. There was no way that he was going to get caught! Running in, or rather tripping into it, he continued to run. After quickly calming himself, he created another portal, of which would take him away from the absent place. That was really a close one. Or at least he hoped it was. If the two had seen even the slightest glimpse of his hair, or even worse, if they had seen his stature, he was a goner. But at least he would not have to take a blow at the moment. Besides, as long as he waited it out, the two would either forget, or they would report it to the Superior. Not that he liked the Superior's punishments. However, in the end, he always preferred them over the alternatives. Stepping in carefully this time, he sighed. Where would he go...- To him, there really was only one obvious spot. It was the spot that he always ventured to when he needed to get away, Twilight Town.
Roxas slowly stepped onto the clock tower. Raising a hand, he blocked the sun's light from his eyes. Of course he did not need to remain so for long. The sun was already setting. It was just that the shock from darkness to light bothered him. Lowering his arm, he stared at the image for a moment. It truly was a beautiful as ever. But before he could take it all in, he heard a soft noise hit the wall. The boy quickly thought of the two members from before, of whom he had not been able to identify with the short period of time. A cold shiver ran through his body. How in the world had they found him!? Scratching the back of his head, closing his eyes, he gave a childish smile and towards the noise. On most occasions, Roxas would be swift to act rude and say it was not his fault. But being so high up, as well as cornered, he really would not be able to do much with his keyblades. "I..." He mumbled. "That is, I was just curious. I only wanted to listen. Besides, it isn't my fault that Axel messed up..." He laughed faintly under his breath. That was odd...- Normally the Organization members would already be all over him or yelling at him. Opening his eyes, he found the majestic figure of a young girl that appeared to be around his age.
"Namine!?" The boy yelled rather loudly as he took a step backwards from shock. He forgot all about being on top of the tower. Foot hitting the edge, he lost his balance from one leg. Roxas waved his left arm furiously, his right grabbing hold of the tower as he balanced himself. Blushing slightly, he mentally pummeled himself for being so ignorant. This was dreadfully embarrassing. Thinking about it now, he wondered if falling would have been such a bad thing. He sighed deeply. Stepping one step forward, returning to his previous stance, he watched her. Roxas felt like looking directly down. But he eventually decided to look back to the sunset. "Eh... I heard that Axel lost you...or something." He said softly, trying to say something, anything.

The blond relaxed and shifted a bit to find a more comfortable position. The wall she was leaning against wasn't exactly the most welcoming, but it would do for now. She couldn't very well carry around a pillow or something silly like that. It hadn't been planned, coming here. It had just sort of happened, to be quite honest. This wasn't the first time she'd been up here, but this was probably the first time she'd been up here at this time of day. Namine had to admit that it was one of her favorite places to just come and think. There was just something overtly calming about this place that she couldn't seem to get enough of. It was hard to explain and it was probably fortunate that there was nobody else around that she would have to attempt an explanation for. She wasn't entirely certain how long she had been sitting there, but after a while, her eyelids were beginning to feel heavy. It was becoming difficult to keep them open and more than once she managed to keep them from closing completely. But ultimately sleep seemed to win out and the next time her lids drooped closed, they remained that way.
The next thing she knew, someone was shouting her name. Her eyes snapped open at that and she carefully turned her head to see just who it was. The voice certainly wasn't Axel's and she couldn't begin to imagine who else would come looking for her. Her eyes fell upon the figure of a blond boy and for a moment, confusion played on her face. And then she realized just who it was and she had to smile. Her eyes widened considerably as he lost his balance and she held her breath as she watched swaying dangerously close to falling. It was as though she was rooted to the spot. She would have rushed to him and attempted to at least be of some help if she could have, but it just wasn't possible. The Nobody released a breath she hadn't even realized she had been holding and breathed a sigh of relief as he managed to straighten himself out. Namine realized she was staring now, but honestly she couldn't help it. He was so different than the others and she couldn't help but wonder why that was. Maybe everyone really was different, she mused.
Namine noticed that he seemed to be blushing, but instead of commenting on it, she simply smiled. It could have been a lot worse, she reasoned. In a way, she was glad that Roxas had been the one to discover her here, rather than anyone else. After a moment, she turned back to the view in front of her. She felt his gaze on her face and her cheeks started to burn, but she wouldn't look back at him. She was being silly and she knew it. The only reason he was so surprised to see her here was because Axel was usually more careful. She didn't really get a lot of chances to be out and about and so she relished the few she did manage to snag. Of course, it must have been quite odd seeing here out here like this. She wasn't exactly the most equipped to take care of herself if something terrible happened. Perhaps that was why they had decided to assign her a baby sitter. He was being awfully quiet and she fought the urge to turn and see whether or not he was still standing there. When he spoke again, Namine smiled to herself. So they had already heard that she'd given Axel the slip, eh? It wasn't all that surprising when she thought about it. Idly she wondered whether or not she should be expecting a visit from the redhead soon. Surely Roxas would be letting them know that she was at least safe.
"I suppose you could say that. Or you could say that I gave him the slip," she replied quietly. She was still facing forward and gazing out at the sunset. It was comforting to know that he hadn't run off immediately to let everyone know when he had figured out who it was that he'd found sitting up here. It was like they had a secret, almost. It was nice. Well now that he knew what she was doing here, she couldn't help but wonder what purpose he had for coming here as well. Maybe they'd sent him out to look for her instead of Axel; or maybe it was something else entirely. Namine supposed the only real way to figure that out would be to ask, but for some reason she couldn't quite bring herself to pry. It could be considered nosy, she reasoned, and most people didn't like that. Still, she couldn't help but be curious about the boy who shared her birthday. If they had been normal people with real parents, she supposed that would have made them siblings. He was probably the closest thing she had to a family and so it made sense that she would wonder about him just a little. He had looked thoroughly surprised to see her sitting up here, almost as if he had been caught doing something he shouldn't have. It was confusing.
"It's nice up here. I like to come up here sometimes when I don't feel like being in my room. He doesn't seem to understand it, but I do."

Roxas found himself staring at her. Her smile forced him to return one of his own. Of course he could not help but wonder if she thought of him as a clutz. Once again his cheeks turned a shade of red, and he followed her gaze to look out towards the sunset. He felt out of place somehow. Why he was so nervous around her, he did not know. Normally he could act like a smart ass or something. Or the blond would at least be able to feel common. Even though there were the natural abnormal feelings around certain Organization members, something about Namine was drastically awkward. Sadly his mind could not comprehend why. On the other hand, he also liked being around her. Not that he could even tell you why. But for some odd reason, he liked seeing her. And here of all places...- The only bad thing that had happened so far was him nearly falling off the tower. Even so, that was not her fault. He should have been more careful. Getting all excited and losing balance was definitely his own fault. Scratching his head, he continued to look towards the sunset, just like Namine.
“I didn’t really believe it at first...” He said with a hint of laughter. “You running from Axel, that is. I mean...normally he wouldn’t let someone get away so easily.” Roxas knew the redhead to be really good at what he did. Axel was really the only one who could always find him, no matter where he wandered off to. It was like the Nobody had trackers embedded in the skin of each of the members. Still, he knew that that was preposterous. There was no possible way for someone to put a chip in each of the members. Maybe one could pass with a few, but to get certain members, you would have to be dreadfully careful. And Roxas did not like to think that he would be easily captured. But what about when he was sleeping? Pausing at this thought, he knew that it could be possible. In the end, he told himself that it was impossible. Besides, he doubted Axel would go to such lengths. Realizing his previous words, though, he blushed again. His words could have been thought of as insulting. Scratching the back of his head, still looking at the sunset, he took in a short breath. “Not that I do not think you could get away from him... I...I mean, of course I think you are capable. It’s not that I think you are slow or anything. I would never...” Looking down he stopped his rambling and stared as a few people passed on the street far below.
Hearing her mention things about this spot, as well as the desire to be somewhere beside her room, the boy smiled. Finally raising his head, he looked at her. She was still just sitting there, staring off towards the sunset. Though he did not know why, he felt warm inside. Not that he would admit such a weird feeling. Surely no one would understand. Hell. Even Roxas did not understand it. But those few words seemed natural to him as well. He often came here, when he wanted to get away from the Organization and such. Even Axel sat here with him at times. “The sunsets are really beautiful.” He mumbled ever so silently. Moving his feet, he sat down around two feet from her side, his legs falling off the side of the tower. “I like coming here too. It makes you feel as if...you are somehow a part of their world. Almost as if you are normal.” The blond smiled as he focused his gaze back to the sunset. Talking about this spot was rather easy for him. Remembering her comment about Axel - or at least he thought Namine meant Axel - his smile changed to sympathetic. “I’m sure he understands more than you think. He has not found you yet, right? I mean, knowing him, he probably would have found you by now. And I am almost positive that he would have checked here...- He likes it here too.” Roxas had to defend the red head. Even if the elder male did tend to get him in trouble at times, he was his best friend. Besides, he thought the words to be true. Personally he thought that Axel was allowing her to roam around. Confusing and getting away from Axel was not too difficult - unless the redhead was determined as hell. However, not getting found and caught afterwards was the true issue.
“I’m sorry that you rarely get to go anywhere.” He was still looking towards that bright sunset. Even so, a serious expression played against his face. Of course he knew that it was not his fault directly. Still, he somehow felt as if it was his fault, if only slightly. And he could not bring himself to look at her. Pondering what he should say next, the blond remained in his current position. He loved this spot. In truth, his best - favorite - memories were floating here, in this world, on this tower. And he was actually making another at that very moment. It was hard to think of what to say, especially when he barely knew her. On the other hand, there was one thing that finally came to mind. “I’d love to get to know you more.” He said softly as he looked to the ground below them. “If you do not mind, that is...” Gazing back at his fellow Nobody, he smiled and let the red appear on his skin. “I’d like to come back here again with you, to watch the sun set again...”
