The red furred female was resting in her usual place, having claimed the comfortable seat of the mechanical digger for herself a long time ago. Her sandy colored paws dangled to the side, their lenght just a tad too big for the size of the cushion.
Her head was resting on her forelegs, titlted slightly to the side. One of her brown ears was following the sounds of life outside, paying attention as not to be caught off guard. It wouldn't do good to her health if she was ever to let her guard down, especially now that she was alone.
The dog sighed softly, her dull brown eyes following the lines of a silvery spider's web. In an angry stride, the alpha jumped down the old worn cushion, landing gracefully on the dirtied ground. Her pads left only a small trace in the dirt, as it was only a thin layer. She strode towards the entry way, a small non-transparent broken window.
She sat under the sun's rays, deciding to bask in the warm of the big star. The female's limbs were stretched, easing her muscles into a relaxed state. There really wasn't that much of anybody around anymore. She was sorely missing her brothers and sister.
