The Velvet Whispers club is a restored club from a previously defunct one that closed down three years ago. It was recently purchased and re-done to provide a legitimate cash income for Kasimir, and has so far proven quite successful with the gothic crowd for its dark atmosphere and unique style. Before you even there is an obstacle. In order to enter you must guess the picture on a card that is held up by the bouncer in a small room prior to the entrance proper. Anyone observant enough can see the reflection using the wall-sized mirror behind the bouncer, though it is mostly covered by velvet so it can often by difficult to understand how to solve it. Anyone who fails is rejected and then ejected.

The entrance is at ground level though immediately upon entering the second door there is a spiral staircase leading down to the floor. The centrepiece of the club in a perfectly square column roughly fifteen feet wide which houses the bar, with the DJ station on top, allowing the DJ to see the entire club with speakers both on the station itself and on the walls surrounding the room, saturating the club with its music.

The back half of the club is taken up entirely by a black marble dance floor, illuminated from the ceiling by strobe lights that are blood red, giving the whole dance floor a surreal blood-soaked appearance that serves to arouse and excite the animal side of its patrons’ nature.

The front half of the club is taken up by wrought iron tables and seats with velvet coverings, whilst the walls on all sides of the club are draped with red velvet with lights behind them, lending more to the blood-soaked atmosphere.

On the side of the room opposite the entrance there is a balcony which overlooks the club and is connected to the owner’s office, allowing him to survey the club and even make announcements to the patrons when there is a special event, which usually happens on holidays.

Below the office there is an entire wall taken up by booths with black tinted windows obscuring them from view, the windows light from beneath by hidden lights that tinge the entire thing dark red, allowing the people inside to see outside and have the feeling of being watched despite blocking out all vision into the booth.

In the middle of the back wall there is a door which opens into a narrow hallwaythat leads to the VIP area, an exclusive area which provides a slightly more subdued and more private experience. The whole room is strung with velvet drapes and more wrought iron tables surrounded by plush circle-shaped leather couches, providing each table with its own closable curtains to provide complete privacy, for whatever reason.
