&&It's a Free-For-All
Everyone is allowed to have their own exhibit regardless of status here on Dark Hearts. These exhibits are for all members to display their talents to the world and show their progress as a designer.

&&Keep it Simple
Please do NOT post your images "as is," meaning if you made a 200x500 graphic, you post it on your site as big as it is for everyone to see just like that. ALL graphics are to be made into thumbnails no bigger than 100x100 (if square), can be somewhat bigger if rectangle. Please do this so that we don't use up too much space and other members can't post theirs because the bandwidth has been exceeded. Use the "a href" tag on the thumbnails so that when a member clicks on your thumbnail, they will be directed to a site that will show the entire picture, such as photobucket or something.

&&On Graduating
Graduation is an important day for all of us. The admins here at Dark Hearts sincerely want to see every member of the Dark Hearts Guild grow into terrific designers. Our approach to growth is more personal. We won't come around once a month and do mass exhibit checks, instead, members who feel they are ready to graduate to the next level may submit their exhibit by posting in the graduation forum located inside each exhibit forum with the link to their exhibit ONLY on the 1st and the 15th of every month. Members can not submit on any other days, and if they do, their submissions simply will not be read. Only members who have reached a certain forum's level may post in that particular graduation forum. For example, Sweet Hearts should post in the graduation forum in the Sweet Hearts exhibits, Brave Hearts in the Brave Hearts exhibits, and so forth.

&&Moving On Up
It's important to understand that just because a member submits his/her exhibit in for graduation, that does not necessarily mean they will be able to graduate. It is quite possibly, and more than likely, that at some point members will be denied for graduation due to not enough experience and/or skill. Some are more talented than others and may move up quicker, but this doesn't make anyone better than another. Please understand that everyone moves and progresses at their own pace. Also, members may be in a hurry to move up in rank and deem their own work better than it really is. Dark Hearts is not here to boost anyone's ego. Once an exhibit is submitted it will pass or fail, followed by an explanation and some constructive criticism as well as comments on things well done. Please don't take any of this personal, the admins just want to honestly help members grow as designers, and promoting someone not ready to be promoted will not help them at all.

&&Exhibit Maintenence
a. It is the responsibility of the guild member to maintain his or her own exhibit. Please do not resend the same images to the admin to be considered for graduation. If a member DOES send the same image, it will be okay as long as the same image is posted next to it, but the second image is improved upon to show the member has considered the admin's criticism and worked upon it. Even so, completely new images must be included as well in the exhibit.

b. At Dark Hearts, exhibits have no expiration date. This means that if you are not active for a long while, when you come back your exhibit will still be there, to a certain extent. Exhibits that have not been updated for 6 consecutive months will be moved to a dead bin. An exhibit may be taken out of the dead bin by request of the owning member.

c. When creating or maintaining an exhibit, the member shall put this code at the very top so that admins will know the exhibit is a working one, not a dead, forgotten one. The code is this:
CODE
[SIZE=7][b]Updated on [[ mm/dd/yyyy ]][/b][/size]
