Main Area/Training Grounds
A large, main part of the Weyrbowls consisting of a landing pad, certain forested patches and open grounds. Most of this is the training area where the wings can be seen training. (NOTE: Includes information on wyerling lessons, weyrlings rules and a role call)

Drum Heights
On the ledge at the very top of the Weyrs, accessibly, in Timell only by dragonback but in Point Drammar, by indoor ramps, is the drum heights. This is where the watches take place and the area is lit up by glowing stones. The perfect spot for dragon sunbathing, too, so long as you stay out of the way of those on their 4-hour watch shift.

Inner Area
Here you will find the garden, footpaths that lead through the garden and around the area closest to the main part of the Weyr. The garden is filled with herbs, flowers and even fruit, some of which you can pick without permission. Nearby is a seated area with stone benches and so on, for those who wish to relax in the sun or in the shade of some of the large trees around the garden and path that runs by it.

Field and Weyrlake
Anywhere in the Weyrbowl that you would like to be, through the expanse of fields and the huge lake towards the middle back of the grounds. The sheer size can be intimidating to newcommers, and there is always something going on here.

Flights and Runs
All dragon flights and wher runs will be held here, feel free to post greenflights whenever you please. Those with chasing males will usually end up finding themselves in the weyr of the female's rider, as is normal. Though with wher runs this is not always the case.

The Stables/Corral
Two separate areas, though in the same vicinity, the corral is where heardbest are kept to be fed upon by the dragons. Around the other side, far enough as not to scare them, the runnerbeasts are stabled. These horses are either owned by the Weyr in general, though some can be privately owned. Messengers will often be seen moving in and out of these stables, and stablehands look after the beasts communally.

The Sands
A large cave to the side of the Weyrbowl filled with hot sand, seating for viewers and (if you are lucky) a mother with her eggs. Small tunnels off to the sides link up with the Weyrleader and Weyrwoman's rooms, but apart from that all access is through the Weyrbowl. Hatching, of course, will take place here, though you can feel free to view any eggs as you please, so long as the mother does not mind...

Hallways
Hallways in both Weyrs reach up to the very top, through almost every floor. In Timell, they stop before the riders chambers, leaving the drum heights, and dragonriders weyrs out of bounds for those without dragons. There are hallways up there, of course, but no sloping ramps in order to get up there, you need to be dropped by dragon into an entrance. Point Drammar, on the other hand, has access ramps all the way up to the drum heights.

Kitchen/Dining Hall
The kitchen is where meals are prepared, snacks are stolen or begged and from where the dining hall is linked. In this dining room meals are taken, and special events are held and celebrated.

Infirmary
The injured and the 'injured' come here to seek treatment. Anything from minor headaches to injuries in Threadfall (or, before this, from the war). During the course of wartime, the infirmaries have expanded and are always stocked with healing herbs and busy staff.

Bathing Chambers
Two large pools are separated by a large, rock wall with thin gaps to allow for the water to pass either way, these gaps are only a few cm high though very wide so no one can see through. Another set of these, in Point Drammar, is located on the upper levels and is reserved for dragonriders only; candidates and others are to use the lower baths.

Council Chambers
Important meetings go on here, and it is also used for one-on-one meetings where the participants do not want to be interrupted. These participants, of course, must at least hold the rank of wingleader, or be specifically called upon by a higher rank, to take part in these meetings. These are, currently, used as a war-room and tactics centre, maps and notes are strewn across tables and walls most of the time with the wingleaders and their higher counterparts hovering over these notes.

Dragonriders weyrs
Uniquely formed by rock and lava, the weyrs vary in size and shape though all hold the basic functions: stone bed with covering, chairs, desks and so on. Each have a 'balcony' of sorts for the dragons to perch on while the rider's section is blocked off by a curtain to protect against the elements.

Weyrling Barracks
Much smaller in size than the dragonrider weyrs, these miniature versions house those who have finally Impressed and gained their very own dragonet.

Candidate Barracks
Smaller even than the Weyrling barracks, these are large enough for a single person. A young, single person who is awaiting their chance to Impress and move up to a much larger room, dragonet in tow.

Weyrfolk weyrs
Their level in the Weyr depending by rank, these wyers are nicer than the weyrling barracks but not quite as grandiose as the dragonriders' rooms. Comfortable to live in, though, and generally located near to where their job is, they are the homes of those without dragons.

The Creche
Either the very old to the very young, they are are looked after here by crechemaids, each with their own room (or a shared room between several for the children). Weyrbrats who are too young to be left to roam on their own are kept here until they are old enough to get into trouble away from the creche.

Storage/Underground Tunnels [Timell]
Free for all to enter, though stocked and counted very carefully, the Timell storage area is rather interesting. Other tunnels lead off from it, an underground bunker of sorts and (so long as you don't get lost) some have discovered just where each of these tunnels lead. Some are blocked by locked doors requiring keys but all are large enough to fit at least a blue in, though it would be a rather tight squeaze. If you move out of the store room area, nothing is lit. Is is guessed that this was tunnelled out during the Weyr's making, to allow for whers to gain easy access. To some it is just a fun place to get into trouble.

Laboratories [Point Drammar]
Restricted mostly to herbalists and healers, this underground area is rather secretive. No one quite knows what is going on here - though the ranking members of the Weyr suggest it is only to make stronger cures from herbs and such things, but some know better...

The Bar/Harper Chambers
Consisting of two, large rooms this is where most members of the Weyr come to relax. One room is relatively quiet, separated from the other by a massive curtain and this is where the bar is located. The other side of the curtain is where Harpers entertain with music and stories. However, despite the hustle and bustle there is always an area in the back, where the stone booths and tables are located, to have a quiet, lonely drink.

Hunting Grounds
The remaining plains and forests that haven't been destroyed by war or Thread, here you can find game to hunt as well as large, predatory cats and others that are not used for meat, but kept at bay so that the game is not completely wiped out. Dragons with more.. unusual tastes in meat may find themselves hunting outside the weyr.

Inland Sea [Point Drammar]
Point Drammar's inland sea remains mostly untouched by Thread (possibly because it is easily drowned) and fish, dolphins (with telepathy skills similar to that of dragons) and other creatures may be found here. Point Drammar's closest hold has docks where Weyrfolk can take a day off to head out on a boat.

The Wastes
Blackened dirt, blackened dust and a blackened sky is all that you will find here. Dust and ashes kicked up by the wind darken the area and block out the sun at times. Still, some like to traverse these areas on search of still inhabitable areas, or simply fly across to view the destruction of war and Thread.
