Mike Wallace will drive the #01 for JDM at Daytona

Mike Wallace is known for his prowess on the high banks of Daytona International Speedway. And now, thanks to backing from a Virginia military school, Wallace will get to once again prove his superspeedway talents in the NASCAR Nationwide Camping World 300 at DIS. "First, I want to thank Johnny Davis and everyone at JD Motorsports for working with me to put this Nationwide deal together," Wallace said. "I love racing at Daytona and having two opportunities to compete there is great. When the Fishburne Military School Board of Directors got together and talked about supporting this one-race deal, they realized it would be a good thing. I'm not too up to date so forgive me if this is posted somewhere else, but who is driving the 01 for the rest of the season?

Hey! Plans for the #01 Team are still be finalized for the rest of the season. Danny is the main driver at JDM with the #0 Team. They plan on having Danny Full Time and Running ALL OF THE RACES. They would love to run the #01 Full-Time, But right now Daytona with Mike Wallace was the only race confirmed that I know of, I will defently find out if the #01 with be at California Tommorow or Tuesday.

Oh, I see. I'm assuming JDM is based near Charlotte, wouldn't it greatly cut travel costs not to run the 01 at California and Las Vegas.

Johnny Davis Motorsports is actually located in Gaffney, South Carolina. The JDM Shop is actually about an hour and a half south from Charlotte/Mooresville Area. If it's a low car count then they will probily go to California, But like I said I'm hoping to figure out some stuff tommorow on the #01 Car. There main primary focus is the #0 with Danny O' Quinn Jr behind the wheel and if the oppertunity is also there to run the #01 they will run it as well.
