-Please keep flaming at a minimum.
There is no sense in attacking another user, whether it is because of a conflict of interests, or flamebaiting (described below). If someone flames you, don't flame back. Simply report them.

Also, please don't flamebait. A flamebait is a post made to attract flames.

-Please do not use inappropriate language.
Severe curse words will not be tolerated. When you feel there is no other way to word it [there usually is, however] please either:

-Blank it out completely, eg, ****
-use only the first letter, eg, S***

-Please tell your friends and/or family about this message board.

DJU is a public site, so don't be afraid to send out invites! If unwanted visitors come, the admins can take care of it!

-Do not post offensive images.

Any pornography, racist, sexist, agist, or offensive images will be deleted, and you will be suspended. If you are linking to a video that may contain suggestive images, PM a staff member, and make sure you give good warning in the topic.

-Do not spam (post pointless or senseless messages) outside of the forum "SPAM".

We have the SPAM board for a reason. If you flood the board with SPAM posts to up your post count, your post count will be lowered, and if you continue, you will be warned.

Responding to a topic with a mere emoticon, especially if it has nothing to do with the topic, is SPAM. Even if there's a funny movie and you laughed, at least post something other than just a smiley.

-Do not guess at password-protected forums.

We have a number of password-protected forums here at DJU. The members there would appreciate it if you didn't try and invade their privacy.

NOTE: There is ONE exception to this rule: you are allowed to guess the password for the hidden DJU basement forum.

-Posting clearly to annoy or offend other users is not allowed.

Posting to annoy others, or "trolling" is against the rules, and will get you warned. Example, going to the Mario forum and posting "Mario sucks." is trolling.
