:. Metroid Prime 3, Corruption

So anyway, I recently obtained and have beaten Metroid Prime 3.

I'm a big fan of the series, and I must say, it was an amazingly well-put-together game. It has everything fans of the series will recognize, as well as some twists. Overall, I'd give it a 9.5/10. The only downside: IT WAS TOO SHORT. :P

Anyhow, has anyone else purchased/rented/played it? Thoughts/comments/tips & the like.

Also, feel free to discuss the Metroid series in general. I personally think it all comes together fairly nicely.

I wish I had a wii to play it on. It looked awesome.

I was wondering why the number of "SPARTAAAAAA"'s and "OVER 9000!"s had decreased over the past few days...

But anyway, never played it, probably never will. I'm not a console gamer.

To sum it up: It's great while it lasts.

I like how there isn't auto-aim in this one. You can auto aim the camera on the enemy so it stays focused on them, but aiming the wiimote at the weakspot is all up to you.

I actually never got really far in hunters cuz the controls infuriated me.

Agreed, however, I would like to see the original Metroid and Metroid II games remade for the DS (cause better graphics owns).

I just rented it yesterday (saturday) and am looking for the energy cells to operate the GFS Valhalla. I found the first one in Bryyo, and am about to go looking for the one in Norion. I just got the screw attack, and nearly passed out at how cool it looks on Wii.

P.S. I think everyone who has ever played metroid or has played Super Smash knows Samus is a girl. However, it's so much more apparent in Corruption, cuz you can see her face right when the game starts. She's in her zero suit while in hybernation, then spawns her armor to her. It's super cool.

I played through it recently, I enjoyed it, but I felt it was short. Hopefully a round through hyper mode will slow it down.

It was a good game, but I can't say I liked it. Mainly because of the controls, I don't like the Wii controls in shooters. I just hate the way you have to move with a stick and aim with something isn't very stable. It's...confusing.

I played Metroid Prime for Gamecube and thought it was a really cool game. But, i played Super Metroid for SNES when i was younger and it was 10x better. :D
