Seriously, I hope Obama wins, Hilary to me at least, does not seem like she would make a good president.

I will. She is a hyper-socialist (in the US political sense). Then again, I don't like any of the Dems. The only candidate I can stand is Ron Paul, so I might as well subject myself to 4 more years of hating the government already.

I despise Hilary, but I hope she is nominated, for the reasons stated by Genre and Mudd.

The fact that a US President tried to turn the US Socialist would cause turmoil. Lots of it. And I personally am anti-Socialist, but that's not the point being discussed here.

The fact that socialism is...socialism. Being a libertarian-leaning individual I find such a platform offensive.

Why would I vote anyone into office with views I don't support just because congress won't actually let her act on her views?

I have a feeling a republican is going to win anyways as seeing how society looks down on women and african-americans in general (or at least the older citizens of the US), I don't see the democrats having a snowballs chance of becoming the next president.

With that said, I pray to god that Hillary Clinton doesn't become the next president. Unless I'm mistaken, she sides with Jack Thompson (anti-video game activist) and just because of his views alone and how he views video games as evil and such and with all this censorship, I do not want her running. In fact, if she dropped out of the race today, I'd at least have something to celebrate on Labor Day tomorrow.

John Edwards is still polling ahead of Clinton and Obama in Iowa. As we saw with John Kerry, early momentum in the primaries is a substantial factor. I remember at this time last election people were already declaring Howard Dean the next President, heh.

It's about time for a black president.

How is she a hyper Socialist? Obama is further left then her anyday, and Gravel and Kucinich are FAR more left than Hilary, Hilary is a firm believer of Capitalism...

I'd want nothing more than for it to be Kucinich, but that's not going to happen. It'll probably end up being Clinton.

I think John Edwards has a good chance of getting the nomination. Hillary has the huge drawback of, well, huge swathes of the US population hating her (I've never understood the reasons) and Obama doesn't have the age or experience to be trusted by the US population. Edwards has good policy ideas, (as Doitzel pointed out) is leading in Iowa, and looks much more like a President is expected to.

Also, why isnt it a poll option?
