Appalachian State scored one of the biggest upsets in college football history Saturday when it blocked a field goal in the last seconds and beat Michigan, 34-32.

A top Division 1 Team Loses to Division 2 Team.

App. St. is not division II, it's division 1-AA. Yes, there is a difference.

Actually, they changed the names to something weird like championship division and bowl division... But I'm still using 1-A and 1-AA.

Bush responded calmly to the defiance. "I suppose Amedinejad - or 'Amy' as I like to call him - is right. Americans certainly don't seem to have the cojones for a decent war these days. That's why I intend to start with diplomatic pressure. Specifically, economic sanctions. More specifically, a declaration of economic sanctions duct-taped to a 10-megaton warhead."

There goes Michigan's whole season. I can't see them playing in a major bowl game with this lingering over their head.

Go USC.

The two top overrated teams every year are Michigan and Notre Dame. And Ohio State is pretty overrated too. I would say the big 10 is overrated but I respect wisconsin. Appalachain State should be in division 1-A anyway. When you are always the champion of ur league you deserve to advance. Michigan didnt have a chance at the title anyway cuz LSU and USC are both going undefeated.

Go Nittany Lions! The asshole refs took away our chance at getting pounded in the Championship game a few years back by adding mystery time to the play clock at the end of the fourth against Michigan.

Glad to see the Wolverines getting a little taste of "SUX 2 B U".

Do you think they have lost all chances of getting into a decent bowl? I feel like apple city is going all the way in AA with this win riding the whole way there and possibly propelling them into 1-a or division 1.

I almost had a heart attack when I saw the final score, it's awesome.

*Sir Sci is an Indiana Hoosiers fan, so seeing a good team lose to a division I-AA team as well makes me happy :D
