It's 18 for everyone in the UK, though i did start going clubbing at the tender age of 16 without too much trouble.

Strange... I have never seen this... perhaps you should go to a club somewhere else? I am sure you can find one were guys at age 18 can enter too... or is the 21 for guys thing the law in Florida?

In Romania it's only 18 for everything of both genders, alcohol, night-clubs, but driving license too. I think this is highly discriminating like you have it over there with 21 for guys and 18 for girls; I'd see it as an insult for the female gender more likely, not to be allowed of having guys of their age around.
