:. Terror Attack in the Empire, capital under enemy control

*It’s midday in Slavorussia and it appears it will just be another clam day in the capital Imperial City, when a loud convoy of military humvees and tanks roll down the main street toward the palace. The palace security radio to the Elite Imperial Guard, as the tanks are not the Slavorussian standard model.*

Gate guard: Elite Guard we have a problem here at the front gate, it appears as though we have some company… over
Elite Guard: Gate Guard this is Elite Guard what is your, those tanks are not Slovorussian, proceed with caution… over
Gate Guard: They are moving fast as hell… over
Elite Guard: Those babies are hostile… repeat they are hostile, sounding alarm.

*With a push of a button the entire palace security, elite imperial guard and the imperial military have been put into action against the threat to the emperor.*

Gate Guard: They have engaged us in combat and we are taking heavy losses send assistance asap… we won’t be able to hold out much longer.
Elite Guard: Help is on its way just try to hold on there you got it, over.
Gate Guard: We won’t last they are swamping us, they have superior numbers and lots of ammo. We are dropping like flies out here, it is only a matter of time before they breach…

*There is static a long static and disturbing silence on the other end as the elite commander tries to radio in to the gate guards. The commander goes to the window of the towering palace command center to see an inferno outside the palace walls and continued fighting between palace guards and the attackers. Shortly after there is an explosion and a gaping hole in the palace walls.*

Elite Commander: Dammit we have to send out a distress signal to anybody who can help us. Do it quick the attackers have breached the palace walls.

Interesting. Very interesting.

Who dares assail the mighty Imperial Palace?

*After the alarm was sounded a squadron of Slavorussian tanks roll out from an underground garage under the palace fallowed by the Imperial Army‘s Elite Imperial Guard, whose sole purpose is to protect the emperor. They are being led by Col. Jason Briggs.*

Briggs: This attack stops here kill those damn terrorists.
[from the palace watchtower the Elite commander radios to Briggs and his squadron to inform them that more attackers are on their way.]
Elite Guard: Colonel this is the control tower speaking the enemy has reinforcements coming in from your twelve and six. It appears they are attacking the back of the palace as well. I need you do divert some of your men to the back of the palace walls.
Briggs: Can do control we have some reserves tanks in the garage, but don’t know how effective they will be.
Elite Guard: Just as long as they can hold ‘em till help arrives , I’ve sent a distress call out to the Kramer Military base they should be here soon.
Briggs: Copy command we’re… dammit, we’ve got another break in the wall, now we are going against a force at least twice our size.
Elite Guard: we may have to radio for foreign help in this matter I think we are fighting a losing battle.[out in the distance the Elite Commander spots nearly 50 Slavorussian tanks and the soldiers to back them up.]
Elite Guard: Colonel help has arrived standby.
Briggs: Rodger.
[at that moment the Slavorussian tanks begin to fire on the palace, blasting a third hole in the wall, while the attackers breach the wall behind the palace.]
Elite Guard: Lieutenant the tanks are hostile, it looks like they are under enemy control. Will radio for foreign assistance.

[[Transmission:]]
This is the Slavorussian Elite Imperial Guard requesting help from any nation that receives this transmission. The capital is under attack and our military has been hijacked, and disabled. We are taking heavy losses from an unknown attacker please send help immediately… oh God!

*suddenly the radio transmission dies and goes silent. While on the battle field it Col. Briggs sees why the transmission went silent, the control tower has been destroyed by a rocket propelled grenade.*

How do terrorists have tanks and well equipped troops? And how did they just waltz on into the country?

i'm getting to that if you would just calm down. :((

Today 200 troops and 30 tanks were airlifted into Slavorussia to attack the terrorists. "We hope to give them enough help to fully repel the aggressors, for the Slavorussian Empire is a long time ally, holding an embassy from when we first made international contact." -Baron Uberstein

Today Russany's forces crushed the terrorists front defences on the eastern front, and gained 1.5 miles, bringing them closer to the Royal Palace.

*Now that the uprising has weakened the Slavorussian Imperial Defense Network, which is headquartered at the palace the Imperial Army will not be able to respond. This is the time that the attacking leader chooses to reveal himself. He is bald and a long scar across his face, wearing all black, with eves that could pierce into your soul. when he speaks he has a deep and commanding voice, yet it is clam and aristocratic. his name is Vladimir Malshinski and he means business.*

Vladimir: I am Vladimir Malshinski brother of Omar Malshinski, and the time has come for you imperialistic pigs to pay for his death. Right now is the time for a great change in Slavorussia, a change that i shall introduce. You are out numbered and severely weakened by my superior forces, surrender now and you will be spared from a slow and painful death.

Briggs: We won't surrender the empire to the likes of you sick depraved bastard.

Vladimir: Then you will all die! Let your followers know that it was you who allowed this bloodshed to continue. As we speak the national defenses are being shut down, and your military bases being raided so i may replenish my ranks.

*Upon hearing that Russany's military have broken through his line of defense in the east he decides to show the world the might of his new military, the former Slavorussian military, and orders an air strike on the entire eastern front.*

ooc: if anyone has any criticism, good or bad, about this rp please pm about it don't just post it here. I know the story has some holes, but I'm not a Pulitzer Prize winning writer, I‘m just trying to have some fun.

Enemy airstrikes forces Russany's forces to halt.

General Ivan looked at the damage done by enemy forces. "This won't stand, call the Kremlin, NOW" He said to the radioman next to him.

An hour later Ivan hung up and smiled. "Get the Cruise Missles ready comrade, oh, and make sure you don't hit the palace, we don't want to injure our allies." He said as he climbed back into his tank.

With Russany's forces halted and Slavorussia's military under his control Vladimir captures the remaining defensive force around the palace, and takes over the capital. His troops begin to search the palace for the emperor, but to his dismay the emperor was never in the palace to begin with. Having taken control of the empire however he knows Justinian will not get far, especially with his injuries after the attempted assassination attempt just days earlier. Now he is free to turn his sight to his next target... the Parliament.

With the air-strikes over Russany's tanks slowly begain to move again. With their supply lines damaged they could no long move as quickly as before. A single Cruise Missles flew into the air and headed for the heard of the resistance. "Are you sure our planes took accurate photos? We don't want to mess up with this." Ivan asked the missle commander. "Yes sir, it should land in the middle of what we are sure of is a arms dump."

Anchor: if you are just tuning in the images you are seeing is the result of a cruise missile attack on in Imperial City in Slavorussia. It appears as though the missile was sent by Russany in an attempt to weaken the attack on the capital, so Russany's forces could advance. at this point we are unsure if the attack was a success or not...

*After having witnessed first hand the devastating attack on his newly acquired army, He goes on national television hoping that Russany's chain of command would see his message.*

Vladimir: Congratulations, your attack on my weapons cache was a success, however the vast materials the Slavorussian army has to offer have not been completely unlocked. I have discovered a moderately sized chemical weapons cache that i will use on the population of this city, unless Russany forces halt their advance toward the capital. If Russany decides not to heed my warning and presses forward i will be forced to use the chemical weapons on Russany's forces as well as the Imperial City. I leave the choice up to you.

After hours upon hours of debate, the Baron walked out of the council room. He walked towards his office and picked up the phone. "Ivan, I have new order for you, and I need you to listen very carefully. We are to withdraw, but continue to spy on them, if we find the old leader, we move in full strength and get him out of there, if we find the enemy leader, we bomb where he is untill all the air around him is aflame."

*Now that he has apparently scarred Russany's leaders into halting all attacks on the capital Vladimir now focuses his full attention to consolidating his rule over Slavorussia. To do this he must destroy the parliament and all parliamentary members, so he stages an invasion of the locked down parliament.*

Vladimir: Bring them all to the street where they will be executed! These parliamentary members will be my example to the nation that i am the one true ruler of the Empire and no one will oppose my rule!

*Outside of the parliament building parliament members fight against the onslaught of Vladimir's troops and are determined to survive no matter what. Robert Knoll, head of the House of Nobles is their apparent leader.*

Robert Knoll: You are not going to take us alive, we will fight you to our very last breath.

Vladimir: If you just come out we will not harm you, but to stay in there would only lead to your starvation and death, there is barely enough food in there to last you a week.

Robert Nol: When the rest of the unaffected military gets here you and your little rebellion are going to be crushed... thoroughly.

Vladimir: In a few hours this entire city will be an impregnable fortress no army will be able to enter here. Just come out and you will be kept safe and treated well, it is my promise to you.

*fearful of starving to death a small handful of parliament members leave the building. Almost as soon as they reach the exit they are fired upon by Vladimir's troops*

Vladimir: I've changed my mind I’m going to burn it down whether you come out or not.

*meanwhile on the Russany/Slavorussian boarder a low flying helicopter approaches the Russany's airspace, and a radio transmission is sent to the nearest possible landing sight*

Heli Operater: This is Imperial Spinner 05-1246 requesting to enter Russany's airspace, we have onboard with us the Slavorussian Emperor.

*Roger that IS 05-1242, you have permission to land on airfield A, we will guide you with the lights.*

A ambulance sped to the runway and anti-aircraft cannons watched the skies for last-second enemy action.

"Once he is safe, I want him sent back to Moscow*, Also, get the tanks ready, we are stopping these terrorists once and for all!" Yelled Ivan as he ran towards the runway.
