:. Specific Military Dismisal

You can make a specific military deployment, buy a specific amount of land or infrastructure but if you want to dismiss some of your military you need to get rid of at least a quarter of your soldiers. I just got a message saying my military was to overpowering after accepting foreign aid. I had to get rid of 2000 troops when I only needed to get rid of about 100. I wasted 190 strength and over $4,000. Imagine being a large nation and having to rid yourself of 10,000+ troops.

Come on does China just all of a sudden dismiss almost a million troops?

Also view the question as "get rid of drop down boxes"

I try to keep my suggestions down to about 1 a week. That way I am not spmming the heck out of the forums and people are more likely to read my topic. Just an idea. ;)

He has some ideas, so what? He's averaging 0.7 a day anyway. And not to be rude, but your post per day is nearly 5 times his.

I also think that you should be able to dismiss both soldiers and tanks at the same time. Now you can only dismiss one or the other.

This game has been set to all people, we cannot just look at one nation and change it. the rest of CN nations are not complaining why should it change. I feel the Defect of this makes the game more challanging and more fun....why would you wanna play a game where you always win

1) We are not just looking at one nation. We are looking at an aspect of the game, and suggesting an adjustment to how it works.

2) Maybe the rest of the CN players aren't complaining because the current system hasn't particulary bothered them, but that doesn't mean that they would be opposed to the change.

3) If you're opposed to this suggestion, then why haven't you voted "No"?

EDIT: This thread also discussed the idea of decomming specific numbers, and there were more people supporting it than opposing it.

I doubt China would dismiss that many troops...but who knows.

Personally the same thing happened to me. I think instead of a dropdown menu you specify dismissal just like soldier deployment

I've had this happen to me before. but you know what yeah its annoying and all but how much is a soldier. For me its $8.40 at defcon 5. sure 80 k for 10 k soldiers is alot but if you are that big thats chump change. I'm not flaming the idea I just think the current system is still sufficient.

it's still unrealistic and unncessary... i just decommed 400 troops and bought back 200. why? irl that would never be the case.

It should definitly be a set amount, but there should be a number telling what the maximum troops you can dismiss before you go anarchy.

I very much agree. Best idea today -- though that may be because this is the first Suggestion thread I've read today.

I was also thinking you should also be able to buy a specific number of soldiers, CMs, Nukes and tech.

...And if they had conscription they would dismiss 40 million.

I support this. It should also be implemented for the purchase of soldiers as well as Tech.
