2008 election poll

Hillary. She's corrupt like all politicians, but at least she has experience being corrupt.

Well I said Obama, though I wish it where Gravel... just don't see it happening, he has less than 1%...

I'd add some text if I were you so that doesn't count as spam.

But what are you laughing at anyways?

Deniz Baykal - September 2, 2007 02:27 AM (GMT)
Well it looks like the forums are different than the actual campaign, I wish Gravel had 25% in real life polls...

He might if eight people voted in real life. :P

That was such an incredibly insightful post that I am still picking up shards of my shattered mind off the floor.

Anyways, I picked Obama, however I don't have much knowledge on the candidates.

The Fireman - September 2, 2007 02:29 AM (GMT)
After some thought, this poll is not a real debate. Moved.

Genre - September 2, 2007 02:48 AM (GMT)
I hope Hillary does. She has the least chance of being elected imo.

Lyonheart - September 2, 2007 03:35 AM (GMT)
I'm thinkin' Obama, but I don't really care. I'll be voting Republican! :D

Rynka - September 2, 2007 03:41 AM (GMT)
Barack 08'!

The Dreamer - September 2, 2007 04:01 AM (GMT)
I'd like to see Hillary vs. Ron Paul. Statism at its worse against constitutionalism at its best.

admin - September 2, 2007 04:25 AM (GMT)
For all things good on Earth I hope that Hillary doesn't win the nomination. From the looks of the opinion polls Hillary is and has been in the lead for quite some time. Maybe Obama will team up with Edwards for a 1-2 punch against Hillary.

trotsky - September 2, 2007 05:13 AM (GMT)
Out of the three options presented my personal vote would go to Kucinich, however, I have a feeling that It'll probably be Obama (though, anything can still happen). I hope to god it's not Hillary.

Mudd - September 2, 2007 05:16 AM (GMT)
I hope Hilary gets the nomination, because then the Republicans will unite to defeat her. Obama could actually win. Hillary couldn't.

This is my opinion too...

2008: another year of picking between a douche bag and a turd sandwich. Ugg...

Everybody hates Hillary but never says why...

tgo111789 - September 2, 2007 05:44 AM (GMT)
Hopefully it would Obama.

I really don't like Clinton, I heard during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, while Bill was cheating with Monica, Hilary was cheating with Monica.... :v:

Seriously, I hope Obama wins, Hilary to me at least, does not seem like she would make a good president.

I will. She is a hyper-socialist (in the US political sense). Then again, I don't like any of the Dems. The only candidate I can stand is Ron Paul, so I might as well subject myself to 4 more years of hating the government already.

BamaBuc - September 2, 2007 06:14 AM (GMT)
I despise Hilary, but I hope she is nominated, for the reasons stated by Genre and Mudd.

What's wrong with being a hyper-socialist? It's not like she'll be able to turn us into a nation with a state controlled market overnight without congress' support.

She can try, which would politically tear this country apart. ;)

But she won't be able to do anything. Trying is for those who fail - it would have no strong impact on the country.

That and there's nothing wrong with socialism. :awesome:

The fact that a US President tried to turn the US Socialist would cause turmoil. Lots of it. And I personally am anti-Socialist, but that's not the point being discussed here.

The fact that socialism is...socialism. Being a libertarian-leaning individual I find such a platform offensive.

Why would I vote anyone into office with views I don't support just because congress won't actually let her act on her views?

vgmmaster - September 2, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
I have a feeling a republican is going to win anyways as seeing how society looks down on women and african-americans in general (or at least the older citizens of the US), I don't see the democrats having a snowballs chance of becoming the next president.

With that said, I pray to god that Hillary Clinton doesn't become the next president. Unless I'm mistaken, she sides with Jack Thompson (anti-video game activist) and just because of his views alone and how he views video games as evil and such and with all this censorship, I do not want her running. In fact, if she dropped out of the race today, I'd at least have something to celebrate on Labor Day tomorrow.

Doitzel - September 2, 2007 03:14 PM (GMT)
John Edwards is still polling ahead of Clinton and Obama in Iowa. As we saw with John Kerry, early momentum in the primaries is a substantial factor. I remember at this time last election people were already declaring Howard Dean the next President, heh.

Rubedo - September 2, 2007 04:35 PM (GMT)
It's about time for a black president.

So we can have some reverse Slavery

MWHAHAHAHA
:jihad:

Just joking.

How is she a hyper Socialist? Obama is further left then her anyday, and Gravel and Kucinich are FAR more left than Hilary, Hilary is a firm believer of Capitalism...

This. She (and most Dems) are conservatives. <reddev>

Gastr - September 2, 2007 05:56 PM (GMT)
I'd want nothing more than for it to be Kucinich, but that's not going to happen. It'll probably end up being Clinton.

Tyrion - September 2, 2007 06:21 PM (GMT)
I think John Edwards has a good chance of getting the nomination. Hillary has the huge drawback of, well, huge swathes of the US population hating her (I've never understood the reasons) and Obama doesn't have the age or experience to be trusted by the US population. Edwards has good policy ideas, (as Doitzel pointed out) is leading in Iowa, and looks much more like a President is expected to.

Also, why isnt it a poll option?
