How does a sports center increase population by 10%?
It makes people fitter yes, but I wouldn't make it that high. Change it to 5% and I like it.

Sportscenter as in the television show, or sportscenter as in a sports center, for athleticism?
The first one will lead to happiness, but also laziness, with those sports fanatics watching television all day; while the second one will lead to happiness and athleticism. :P
Edit: Either way, this doesn't seem like it should be a 'wonder'. It's not a revolutionary building or idea, such as the Stock Exchange, as well as others. It would be more fitting as an improvement, with the statistics lowered to match it.

Any case a sports center just isn't a wonder. I think that the improvement stadium would fit into the same generalization.

Isn't the sports center already here? its just called the Stadium right?
And even a stadium increases happiness by 3 points. That sports center increases it by 4 points. I think instead of a population bonus it should add a income bonus. Because the state taxes those tickets right? so shouldn't income go up by like 4% or something
