Title: Community events
The Dreamer - September 1, 2007 12:57 AM (GMT)
So it's Labor Day weekend and that means community events (yay?). We've got parades, a carnival, a rubber duck race (how exciting), an air show, and fireworks.
Personally, I can't stand any of it. I hate community events and can think of better ways to spend my time than with the idiots who populate this town.
What do you think?

I would say the same thing. Those sound so boring. I would much rather spend the weekend with you guys in the WC.

I wish we could have some community events. That would be rather fun.

Heh. My community consists of the most dimwitted adults and the cockiest kids in America.

I request that we have some Water Cooler community events.
My town also does nothing.

I don't know if my town is doing anything or not. They're might be a parade, but that's probably about it.

Ugh. Belding is the nicest town in the whole U.S.
I never really got into those community events...

I dunno. I'm working all weekend. At least I get time +3 dollars on sunday and time and a half on monday, so at least I get an unusually large paycheck out of it.

We've got a little catholic rock concert going on here.* Let's do a CN rubberduck race everyone photoshop some ducks and someone make a random placing generator. there will be food fun and of course undreage drinking.
* And if my arms were not cut up from breaking a window** I'd be playing my bass there, But Meh.
** Long story.

I wish we had community events here. No one talks to each other in my neighbourhood.

Sounds like my ideal town.

Heh. An itty bitty of town of 600 doesn't have any events for Labor Day.
I was hoping to go to the machine gun shoot up in Colorado Springs, but I doubt that will happen. I'll just work on Labor Day... I get bored sitting around all day doing nothing.

I have too many books to read by monday to pay attention to whether or not there are community events around here. I wouldn't go anyways.
