Title: A Recruiters Privelage

AlexLenin - September 1, 2007 12:10 AM (GMT)
Okay this is pretty straight forward.Give official Alliance recruiters a special CN Mask allowing them to PM many nations for recruiting yet not make them put in the special Validation Code after a set number of PM's.Seems pretty simple and it would allow recruiters to recruit faster.

Why not just have an ingame page that shows all of the alliances in existance with the sanctioned ones at the very top in their own section.

That way people in the game can search out alliances and figure out which ones to join.

Do you honestly think anyone really reads all of the messages that the recruiters send out?

Namfuak - September 1, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
No. They shouldn't be spamming anyway.

I agree with this gentleman -- the deluge of recruitment spam is incredible these days.

Thund3rbird - September 1, 2007 12:59 AM (GMT)
hmm im a recruiter but think even that is a ittle too far. people with no alliance would get like 100 messages a day.

Alden Peterson - September 1, 2007 01:25 AM (GMT)
There just might be a reason why that code exists...

nyce - September 1, 2007 01:27 AM (GMT)
i agree, this would make unaligned nations want to avoid alliances even more due to constant spam.

Only one thing I'm going to say Warfunn. When you get out of peace mode and are hit. Don't come crying on the forum.

Recruitment spam isn't so bad. Join an allience and it will stop :P. Join HoG by the way.

Warfunn - September 1, 2007 05:27 AM (GMT)
Oh I am aware of the risks dont get me wrong. Once I do leave peace mode I might consider joining one, but until then No.

Recruitment spamming has almost been the cause of several wars around here.

The limitations were put in expressly to cut down on the spamming.

Nor could you trust every micro alliance to keep the messaging confined to recruitment only.

Once the spam changes to something else then Admin has to set everything back the way it was or pile yet another load onto the mods to police.

Sorry to say, but this bridge has been burnt for good by those who came before.

Kind of hard b/c no one knows who rules every alliance, no one knows who every recruiter is, and if a recruiter left, he could just spam the world of CN.

So...no

Rozalia - September 1, 2007 12:13 PM (GMT)
I propose recruiters get a special CN account that they can use to send a message to everyone all at the same time.

Warfunn - September 1, 2007 03:04 PM (GMT)
OMG No, I would get over 50 messages a day. My delete button would break :(
